He's a little pocket rocket of a player, good lad but prone to injury.

Looks like we're finally getting Sakho!

He won't be the miracle cure to all our ills, but it'll be a start.

Nice one Heoff. We are close to Mcmanamamnananam () and Marc Wilson from Bournemouth. That Palace lad looks like there may be a problem.

I've got every confidence in Pulis getting the most out of players. Time will tell, but I'm thinking optimistic with this.

What's the score with MCmanaman Ocean? He looked a player at Wigan but seems to have drifted? Is that fair?

Am going to be brutally honest (I hope I don't get judged), but even though I know most of West Brom's team, McManaman isn't a West Brom player I know a lot or anything about (I was thinking of the ex-Liverpool player Steve McManaman and that song by the Muppets). I did read this week in one of the newspapers that there were some young West Brom players who were going to be loaned out to other sides, and I saw on the transfer deadline show tonight that one of them has been loaned out.

For the time being, Jonny Evans is staying at West Brom. Haven't seen anything about West Brom selling him to another club.

Just a Leagues 1 & 2 highlights programme on tomorrow night (on Channel 5).

2 Good 2 Bad (haven't yet warmed to the new graphics for the Match of the Day 2 segment) was a classic nearly two weeks ago (on the Sunday 20th August edition), which included a bit about Roy Hodgson. One of my favourite 2 Good 2 Bad bits last season was the one with Stoke City manager Mark Hughes trying to communicate with his team in the dugout.

There's me getting all happy about Palace buying Sakho...and he's STILL ****ing out injured from the knock he picked up in the Spurs match back in April. Ugh....

There goes Gordon Strachan's men. Giving Scotland hope again.

That stuff kills a scot quicker than the lack of sunshine.

The Republic of Ireland's match against Georgia did not go so well today despite a 1-1 draw in Tblisi.

Serbia, who are in the Republic of Ireland's group, won 3-0 in their match against Moldova today.

Serbia are currently top of Group D with The Republic of Ireland in 2nd place.

Both Serbia & The Republic of Ireland will play their next WC qualifier match at The Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Tuesday night.

We played terrible and you can't play the way we still do at this level its awful but that's Martin O Neill's style of football long ball again and again.
We were lucky to get a point but if we qualify for the World Cup we won't be there long with the kick and rush football we play and Serbia will win on Tuesday because we can't cope with teams like that.

Glad to see things back to normal this weekend. We've got one of the three newly promoted teams, Brighton & Hove Albion.
