Come on Palace, gotta beat the Weed tonight. Even if we do go down I just hope we beat this lot.

You couldn't even win your cup final

I heard that 300 Palace fans couldn't get in because other Palace fans without tickets rushed the stewards and took their seats. Probably the same idiots that sneaked into Brighton last night and defaced a mural of the Seagulls captain. Suppose it makes a change from defacing their own team bus.

People actually sneak into Brighton?

Still within reach of the bottom teams Geoff. If you can hang on until January you might have a chance.

Could have been worse, they could've shit on the floor.

I'll take a draw, as long as we didn't lose then I'm happy with that and your lot failed to score against the worst defence in the division. Kudos.

Next, up Pardew's West Brom. And I'm praying we win that one, I said to the footballing gods that I'd take a draw tonight as long we beat WBA.

Fat Sam's off to Everton then. Tosser. At least we'll get some money back as part of his severance deal with us.

Meh, he's a spiv, always has been. Kept Palace up and then ****ed off just like Pulis did because he didn't like the ley of the land. At least we'll get some money back without having to take him to court.

What do you think, vortex? Happy with BFS coming in?

Not really. Especially considering his recent history of jetting after the first season. Or not even a full season. He's a temporary stop gap. That's all. I'm just concerned about the sad state of affairs surrounding my team. I know we were never going to be great based on the off-season signings, despite spending ridiculous amounts of money on players, but I also didn't think we would be in a relegation battle. We have issues in all areas, but especially on defense now. We have aging players in key defensive positions, way too many midfielders, not enough scorers, too many injuries, and lot and lots of bad formations. The players also seemed to have checkout out on their managers. First on Koeman, and now on Unsworth. Their body language during games tells a thousand tales. Their effort level (directly leading to conceding goals) is pretty appalling. We need wholesale changes, and we need them fast, but the upcoming January window won't solve our problems. Neither will hiring Sam as the new man in charge. The best that we can hope for is to stay afloat this season. Pretty grim outlook if you ask me.

I will swap you?

Congrats on win tonight mate. I have to say though I don’t think you are going down, not for one second even before tonight.

Fantastic win anyway tonight, vortex! Thumped West Ham good and proper. It's always nice when your players want to put on a show for a new manager, it always seems to happen to every club except for Palace. I fully expect Pards' West Brom to smash us on Saturday, I'm not kidding. How about Burnley though? Bloody hell.

Oh, and thank you to Arsenal for helping to edge 'uddersfield nearer the drop zone.

Thanks Steed, and also no thanks. I'm sticking with Everton through thick or thin. At least we have an owner that cares about winning and putting a quality product on the field. Your owner just likes to pocket that TV money without giving the fans anything to cheer about. Reminds me of our local Miami Marlins baseball team for the last decade and a half. He did the same thing. Thankfully his ass is gone now. Hopefully you guys will see some light at the end of the tunnel too eventually.

Thanks bud. I guess Rooney drank from the fountain of youth recently. I didn't see this hat trick coming. I'm pretty sure no one did. I'll take the solid win though, as we need all we can get to get away from that dreaded zone. Poor Moyes still has no luck beating us on the other side of the ball.

Great win indeed tob. Arsenal has had pretty good form as of late, especially in the EPL. Lots of clean slates recently. I hope Everton can emulate that going forward, as we've been dreadful when it comes to conceding goals. We got Huddersfield next, so I'm hoping we can build some momentum now with another good performance. We'll see.

No, I mean swap positions? You premier league sufferers don’t know you are born?

Seriously though, I would support the team whatever league they were in, it’s in my blood. You are right about the owner. I think he is pretty much clueless.
Thankfully we have a manager I actually rate now but it is going to be very tough for him.

I know what you meant bud. It would be pretty depressing being that low in the Championship. I couldn't fathom having to deal with that right now. I don't know how you do. I guess that's what it means to be a true fan of your club. Sometimes you suffer a lot.

Oh goodness yes.

As for your boys, I think if they can sort the defence out and get a goal scorer in you could finish top half. Siggi hasn’t quite delivered the level of performance I expected from him but in the games I have watched lately there are flashes of his old self creeping in.

Definitely. I think we need some solid defenders in the January window. A scorer would also help, but if we can improve our defense, then I think we can get by with the players we have on offense until the end of the year. Niasse needs to stay on the pitch and not do foolish things like diving for penalties, and I also would love for Rooney to be able to consistently score for us till the end of the year. Not expecting hat tricks though. A goal here or there would do.

Siggy will be fine eventually, especially of Sam can find him a permanent spot in the formation. I hope Coleman comes back from injury soon though. We sorely miss him. The Barkley situation also needs to be resolved soon.

Big Sam will work very hard on fitness levels. He will get the best out of the players who want to be there and he will insist on using the latest methods/technology for the mental and psychical well being of his players. He will ensure that every player knows exactly what they are doing and I would expect Everton to be extremely well drilled come Christmas. He will bring in a dominating CB I believe and a target man.
