Sounds like exactly what we need. Hopefully we can also weed out the ones that don't want to be here anymore.

Sorry Steedy. Not looking good for Arsenal, 2-0 down already. Another super win for Everton, they're up to 10th! No worries there vortex, you lot are home and dry.

Another away day point, another clean sheet for Palace and given the travails they endured before the game I'm very happy with that. We're off the bottom, still three points from safety but more teams are getting dragged down. I thought we'd get smashed but Brighton got a hammering instead. Couldn't happen to a nicer club.

Thanks bud. I sure hope your squad starts scoring some goals for your team soon. A point is always good, but a team can't continue to survive on a single point, especially when it's facing relegation. But you guys are right there, and it's still early enough in the season to make a move.

How confident are you that Hodgson will guide CP back into the middle of the table? Also curious to see what you think about the stadium upgrade plans?

What a idiotic handball from Mcmanaman. Just stupid. Having said that, the way we bent over and **** ** ** *** **** in the second half was a utter disgrace. Coleman now knows what a huge huge job this is going to be.

Palace wise, I thought that was a good point Geoff. Always important to keep the other teams in sight as you know.

Ocean, how did you feel?

GVortex, big SAM has a reputation for winning his first game and you guys will be much healthier when he buggers off again.

Tob, shame but you paid the price for a poor start. It was a very entertaining game though.

According to him he's actually considering staying for a longer run with us. Whatever that means. Maybe he thinks we're actually worth his time developing and pushing for a European run. I don't know. That remains to be seen.

I still think we're already down, anything higher than 20th is just a bonus right now. But yeah, keeping in touch with the rest and putting a run on might well get us out of trouble.

I love the look of the new main stand but we've been here before. The problem is that Selhurst isn't in some industrial park, it's firmly ensconced in a residential site in a grotty part of South London where space is at an absolute premium. The local residents already hate the stadium and the inconvenience on matchdays so anything that will add to that - never mind 3 years of construction work - will send them apoplectic. They're the very definition of NIMBY's and I can't see them letting this plan go unopposed. Palace haven't even submitted for planning permission yet, I think Croydon Council will tell them to piss off.

Most definitely. The traffic in London is already a total clusterF, so as you said this will only piss people off some more. Still, it would be nice to see your stadium made to look a little more modern. Let's hope they can make it work somehow. Construction jobs such as this are always a nightmare for everyone involved.

I think you guys will stay afloat. What are the chances of CP landing a scorer in the January window?

Regarding tomorrow's game against Swansea, obviously I hope we win, but I'm going for a draw. At least with the last three games we stopped the disappointing run of losses with the draws (the first two draws were with former Albion manager Gary Megson as caretaker manager, and the third draw was new manager Alan Pardew's first game in charge).

Nice comeback win for you guys yesterday Geoff. I'm glad you finally got 3 points, and at least for the moment left that dreaded zone.

Beautiful win today Geoff. You guys certainly made Leicester's piss poor defense pay for their mistakes today. Is Benteke back in your good graces once again?

I'm glad you guys kicked their arses. I can't stand Leicester.

Cheers vortex. Didn't see that coming, but I hope we don't **** it all up and lose to Swansea next week because that is a must win. I'm happy but I'm even more made up for Steedy's boys, first home win in a YEAR!

I can’t resist posting even though I am meant to be having a break from the forum lol.

Coleman has done so much in such a short time. He has us organised, well drilled and playing for the shirt again. Great draw away to Wolves last week and now, a delightful win. Outside of the relegation zone and nearly Christmas to boot!

Geoff, I wasn’t that surprised that you won today. You have picked up some useful points of late. Delighted for you and myself because you put the dirty barcodes in the bottom 3!

What a weekend!

Thanks tob. It certainly appears that way. I hope we keep the momentum going, though I know it will be tough against Chelsea on Saturday. At least we're home.
