They were lucky last night against Juventus but i can see them getting to the final again.

Yes I gather they had a bit of luck there, but sadly I was working late yesterday so I never saw any of the match.

Yes I seem to remember something about FIFA insisting players were carried off in stretchers to get treatment, even if they weren't that seriously hurt. But you're right, it looks quite comical when players suddenly spring to life again after acting like they'd been shot or something.

Well i didn't want A.Madrid they are the strongest team left in the UEFA Cup and favourites to win it so i fear for the worst against them CV19.

Yes Atletico Madrid are good, no doubt, but Arsenal are an excellent side too and are perfectly capable of beating any team if they play at their best, which I'm sure they will.

I'm thinking of the BIG picture.

Tob, I’m really hoping that thee Arsenal does not get thru to Champions League next year thru winning Europa because I feel that will only validate not letting go of Wenger sooner, i.e. leading to even longer torture for Arsenal fans.

The organization needs a meaningful reset.

I know Penton but i would like to see us get our hands on European silverware the last being the Cup Winners Cup in 1994.
Wenger has one more year to go on his contract anyway so we are stuck with him if we win it or not for another year.

Hell if Arsenal gets in champions league vis-à-vis winning Europa, knowing Arsene, he’d campaign the Board to renew his contract for yet another year or two. We could be stuck with him for even more time.

I don't think we should worry about that Penton because A.Madrid will knock us out.

Well; the outcome of who will be Premier League champions has already been decided. Manchester City are champions once more after Manchester United were defeated against West Bromwich Albion with only 5 games to spare. What a stroke of luck for Man City. It is an easy outcome for them. I would guess that Pep Guardiola who won the impending battle against José Mourinho from United will be breathing some sigh of relief today after winning that title.

I never saw the Man Utd game, but I couldn't believe it when I heard the final score. Either West Brom were spectacular, or Mourinho's men had a very off-day.

Yep; it does feel kind of strange this year unlike other years as the title has already been won & not having a nail biting finish at the end.

At least when the final day of the PL comes around; Man City can do their celebrations in proper style from that point on. But still, from a neutral fan's point of view, Congratulations to Man City all the same. They have worked really hard to get where they are by winning their 3rd PL title in 7 seasons.

And SAFC have still won more league titles than them! That little fact always makes me smile in such troubling times for my club.
