I know that it was talked about in the beginning but was never confirmed if it was done so or not. Just wondering if anybody knows. Also, has anyone seen the 4K scan of the 1986 The Fly from Japan. I would really like to upgrade if it's worth upgrading. The original U.S. disc doesn't look that great IMO.

Regarding The Fly i think the transfers are the same worldwide (they are released originally 2007/2008)

I've seen no evidence that the 35th Ann of Halloween was from 4K. I spent quite a bit of time researching it and found nothing. Cannot say about The Fly from Japan.
