Robert Harris had this to say in his review...

Warner Archive hits another bulls-eye with Possessed (1947), as they've returned to the original nitrate camera negative, which dazzles in reproduction on Blu-ray of Joseph Valentine's cinematography. Captured at 4k resolution, at times the imagery is almost too sharp, as the grain structure has been so perfectly captured.

My personal opinion is while a majority of this films looks good either WB filtered the image a bit or the encoding wasn't the best. Image can look odd at times. Anyway looks like this one slipped through the cracks.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced that it will release on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray Jim Henson and Frank Oz's The Dark Crystal (1982), featuring the voices of Jim Henson, Frank Oz, Kathryn Mullen, Dave Goelz, and Louise Gold. The release will be available for purchase on March 6.

The visually spectacular tale of a young hero who must find a legendary relic in order restore harmony to the universe has been fully restored in 4K from the original camera negative.

That's because it's Photochemical finished, shot and finished on film, so the maximum resolution the physical 35mm has to offer.

So are Nolan's movies and The Hateful Eight for example on this list, NO DI either there. But got 4K DCP's as well.

For distribution and home media it's 4K mastered.
