Sorry, I was actually thinking of Total Recall and Robocop. But Total Recall was a 1990 movie anyway. So that actually lends more support to the fact that there is no magic cutoff after 1988.

There are always exceptions that prove the rule. I am not saying there are no counter-examples, but that films made before digital intermediates took over the production chain are less likely to get remastered.

I'm thinking/hoping it will be released around the time of the next Terminator movie. However, surely Cameron will need to be involved and who knows of his timing.

just watched "convoy" BD, and it looks superb. It's also 4K transfer ? If not, I would be surprised, because it looks better, than most 4K remasters from my BD collection
