Looking at the list 30 days of night had a 2k DI where did we hear it was 4k finished

It's was in the leaked Sony papers....4K but finished with a 2K DI

Wasn't sure whether to include this, since I can't seem to find any info on the scanning process. However, if the digital intermediate was at 4K, then it wouldn't make sense if the film was scanned at anything less than that. (I believe the effects are still done at 2K, though).

The status of the IMDB tech specs has flip flopped so many times for TFA, I don't think anyone knows for sure. According to the American Cinematographer article the movie was scanned at 4K but the final digital deliverables were 2K, even the regular 2D DCP. Makes zero sense to finish at 4K but not actually distribute it as such.
