Bob.
Think there is not enough height under Z9F for a Panny UB820. Maybe not enough room even for a Sony x700 blu ray player.

Three or four 18 inch Pizza's may fit.

The Oppo 205 wouldn't fit. The Panny 820 I'm not sure...perhaps. The Sony X800 for sure yes.

On the 65inch Sony x90F there is a gap of 2.7 inch.

On the 75 inch Sony x90F there is a gap of 3 inch.

Z9F gap????

Of cource if the disc player has front display... then the X9F screen view will appear less immersive. Like floating in air.

Z9F have some of these described features

I'm curious. Why don't the Z9F have the same Sony slanted stand??? as the AF9.

Why not put Legs on the AF9???

I'm fairly certain it's because the brains/weight are in the "stand" on the A9F; the Z9F display itself is considerably thicker and heavier and doesn't have the balance for it. The stand and overall weight would need to rise considerably.

I'm worrying about the TV's performance, and people are making a fuss about crab or chicken legs or whatever.

Why do people keep calling the chevron legs "crab legs"

LOL, wall mount is the way to go IMO, no need to worry about "crab" legs.

Never mind it is from the LG fanboy who has nothing to do but criticize any thing that's not his beloved LG

My OPPO 203 has Sony DV passthru. The Sony Z9F will be perfect. Given its dimming zones and nits "Masters" over the Z9D.

Mainly I want just more dimming zones(ie., like 100-200 more zones over Z9D)
Everything else to me is additional nice fluff.

Z9F without the LEGS would put most its considerable weight straight down into the table(?)

I'm thinking that I might consider the 2 yr/no interest for my next purchase from V.E. to keep my funds working in the bank while using someone else's for free.

"Pixel Contrast Booster" not for ZF9? Why?

Z9F has many common features

Robert Zohn. Please help.

Will the 65 inch Z9F stand stable on a 50 inch length TV Table.

What is the distance from the left leg front tip to the right leg front tip?

This is for reference comparison to the Z9F as their reviews comes in during the months ahead:

Really lots of important information here.
https://hdguru.com/review-sony-xbr-6...dr-brigthness/

Question is. Does the Z9F warrants replacing to ones Z9D.

It's because OLED panels are emissive with individual pixel illumination, the Z9F is a LCD based display and has LED back-lights so "Pixel Contrast Booster" is not available on back-lit TVs.

For Sony's 65" Z9F the stand feet are 47" in overall width. Here's the link to our .pdf spec sheet with all of the Z9F specs.

Thank you very much Robert.

I noticed something needing clarification.

Z9D has...
Quote:
The connection panel is recessed into the back of the TV, and includes four HDMI 2.0a inputs with HDCP 2.2 copy protection. Only HDMI inputs 2 and 3 support the full 18 Gbps speeds needed for 4K/60p resolution with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling at high bit depths. HDMI 1 and 4 will handle up to 10.2-Gbps, which is sufficient to pass up to 4K/24p.
But Z9F Robert per your URL specifies
"Up to 6 Gbps" for HDMI 1, 2, 3, 4.

Why Sony lowered the Gbps bandwidth in the Z9F?
So one needs not use high speed 18 Gbps HDMI cables?
