I didn't see it as factual, and don't need to rebut it.

My posts have nothing to do with the Sony Z9F. I have no doubt that it's a disappointing set.

Just wanted to point out the hilarity in Agent Kay's bias against Vincent Teoh, which he posts about across many different threads, and his most recent post just happened to be in this one.

Yesterday the Flat Panel Shootout took place in New York

The Sony A9F took top honors in

Best Home Theater TV
Best Living Room TV
and the overall winner King of TV

Here is what amazed me: Even though the Sony A9F OLED was voted best in the dark room category (Best Home Theater), the Sony 75Z9F was only 5 points away from besting top OLED in the darkroom.

LCDs have come along way and won't be long before they are beating OLEDs in the dark room

.

I understand.

But keep in mind that Archer is very open about not being as technical as Vincent, yet his tv reviews are usually pretty spot on and he's good at finding flaws and calling them out too. I fully expect Vincent to have a mirrored review. So that would reinforce archers assessment of the Z9F correct?

Surely this must be light reflecting off the TV? I have a £120 32" LCD in my bedroom that does not do this

So your bias against me.
There is no bias, I just think he is a seedy money driven man I don't like him and he especially with the Samsung stuff has pissed off a lot of people.
So maybe next time take it to a pm and stop shutting on a thread.
Someone spends 20 plus years reviewing tv's knows nothing about them.
But people who start saying after he fixes them (pay for my services, visit crampton and moore) they are better knows everything.

We knows this now.

Sure. I wasn't trying to trash John Archer. Just stating the fact that Vincent's technical knowledge is far greater, and trashing him for no reason is borderline trolling.

i don't understand - why are people scoring this so close to OLED and singing its praises so highly? That looks awful.

A grown man trying to maximize his income. Imagine that. It's unheard of!

I'm sure John Archer works for peanuts.

Also Vincent is crude and run by the sponsorship and the viewers paying him to set up their tv's.
One has degrees the other sets up tv's.
I never thought that a guy who loves posting Carry On gifs would blanch at Vincent's deadpan punnery, but then it's clear that you dislike what he's all about so every little niggle helps.

Sigh.
I would think you know the Diffrence between 1968 comedy and 2018 comedy.
And comedians not video producers.

I saw worst when the shootout displayed the Blue Planet from the UHD Movie Pan. The shootout paused the scene.

But if it was't paused... it would just appear as a flash.
No TV is perfect.

Hatred and thinking someone is a biased twhat are two different things.
Oh well, you can all enjoy the OLED loving cock jokes.

Whose mike? Does he even like watching optical disc displayed to a Z9F or A9F.

As of right ie we only have the judges votes, not the audience. Remember Samsung's 2017 edge lit Q9 got absolutely trashed for having horrible blacks. The Z9F doesn't seem to be worlds better in that regard, but mysteriously scored high.

So should we here on this thread only buy the 75 inch Z9F? And not the 65 inch.

Some one on the other forum thinks the 75 Z9F is Hot! And not many TV's would compare.

Think Sony is even in process of making the 75 even better. It appears getting master treatment.

75 inch Z9F price is really a great value. Not expensive for a Huge huge screen.
