Given that the FA have now had to step in with Pearson I reckon he'll be gone by the end of the month so I think times are only gonna get tougher before we even get to play Newcastle!

United were poor and have been lucky in the last few games but i think when you get some of the players back you will get better.

Leicester lost - again - but considering our recent run of form and that Man City were the champions last year losing by only a single goal (and such a crap one) honestly doesn't hurt nearly as much as when we came away with nothing from clubs we really should have gotten at least a point from. I had already made my peace to lose nine nil today, so yeah.

It still does mean we're at the bottom though, the gap is only growing as is the pressure upon the squad but who knows, maybe we can at least scrape a point next week against the Hammers. We seem to do better against good clubs, something just seems to click into place.

Pearson is already cutting his losses with some of the players he got on loan, so who knows. I think players are what make a difference (look at the way Newcastle turned it around) but Leicester - as a newly promoted club - don't have a lot of money and probably (although pessimistic) don't wanna run the risk of splurging what little they have if they still have a chance to go back down again.
