You were saying? Good job I wasn't watching as I'd be ****ing fuming right now. Instead, I got the defeat by a single goal that I asked for, so I'll take that as minimising the damage and move on.
Games without a win: 12 League defeats on the bounce at home: 5 Only team in the entire top 4 pro divisions yet to notch a league win in 2016...there's no way on earth we're beating Leicester in a couple of weeks. We'll be lucky to get past Reading in the cup on Friday! |

I never said you had a case to answer Steed, you know I'm 'Mr Hard Done By' whenever soft decisions go against us or blatant things aren't picked up at all. I just assume that the big boys will always get the big decisions and take it from there.
![]() ![]() But still, if it's true that the stand-in keeper gifted them their first goal then Palace have once again shown their near-miraculous ability to shoot themselves in the foot, and I can't blame anyone for that except for the turnip between the sticks. Be interesting to see if we can make it to the end of the season without winning another game, that would take it to 21 games which - although monumentally incompetent - is still nowhere near the longest Premier League run without a win. That belongs to Derby with a stunning 32 game streak, that was the infamous 11 point season IIRC. Trouble is, I can imagine Palace carrying this form into the next campaign (especially given how pish we've been at home these last two seasons) so that 32 game streak could yet fall... |

Do your research sunshine. I have and my suspicions are 100 percent correct. In fact, since the Premier League formed, they are head and shoulders above everyone else.
i have told you before, don't question my knowledge. You will come off second best IMO. Last edited by Steedeel; 03-06-2016 at 04:40 PM. |

![]() Palace will be fine Geoff. I think this season, the total points needed will be slightly lower than average. Last edited by Steedeel; 03-06-2016 at 04:38 PM. |

In that 10 years the top 5 aggregate count of penalties awarded to teams is: Chelsea 62 Man City 60 Man Utd 59 Liverpool 59 (including today) Arsenal 52 Hmmmm....head and shoulders? So far this season, Leicester have scored 52 goals and won 10 penalties, Liverpool have scored 43 and won 2. I don't think it's to much of a stretch to suggest the teams that have traditionally been close to the top of the league, with better attacking set-ups, have, overall, scored more goals and won more penalties. It's an interesting correlation isn't it? Who'd of thought that would be the case? Yep, you're a soccer knowledge behemoth. |

And what is correct about this? But back to reality, what chances are there that Lee Cattermole will be bossing the midfield for England at the Euros? |

I do really love how the "big team" supporters - let's be honest, Liverpool haven't been a big club for years now, hence the air quote - are always the most childish in this thread. So many tantrums, certain people threw their toys out of the pram and then never came back again. Are the people posting here men or boys?
