But can you drink and watch 3D?
I believe this warrants further investigation. Party at Sony screening room!

None, I hate watching basketball too.

It's just run run run, kick, headbutt, goal block, repeat. Fun to play, not to watch. For me anyways.

I am missing all the fun while I am sleeping over here in Europe

Good discussion on Spartacus and the reference to those two 2k scans from HTV came out of left field. I have to admit I am still a tiny little bit worried until I know we will not ever see anything of them on our shiny blue discs

I'll be in LA Monday and Tuesday on business. I fly out of LAX at 2:45 on Tuesday and could be in Culver City in a flash

Well, when you awaken, England is part of the European Union is it not?
I’m always willing to enlighten not just the Yanks but, those across the pond from us.

b.t.w., in that pic, the little tiny loop projecting upwards over the girl on the left’s embroidered insignia is known as the superior semicircular canal (one of three which are a b*tch to visualize and appreciate in lowly 2D).

Just to keep ‘merrick’ intellectually stimulated, there have been reported cases of Vitamin D deficiency leading to cochlear deafness.

Well, hey, in Part II, “Spock” shows up at the end giving the one finger salute to all those Jedi Knights…

You never want to see a real nerd war. Drunken hooliganism pales by comparison. Anyone who watches Mythbusters gets a taste

Now THAT is a proper application for 3D

Kidding aside I am somebody who always preferred projection to solid state displays and what bothers me currently about 3D is the incompatibility between 2D and 3D projection at home - I would not really like my 3D picture to be much darker than what I watch in 3D and I am sitting on the sidelines to see how this problem will be solved without changing screen fabric and screen size.

Believe me, at the speed these guys ride, they seem "motorized".

Lest some folks get the wrong impression, I am a BIG fan of Spartacus

http://www.atwistedspoke.com/2009/09...e-competition/

and I will be cheering for him on the flat and rolling stages as well as Lance Armstrong on the climb up to Big Bear Lake (Stage 6 in the mini-menu on the right) this coming week…

For those that can’t attend, apparently the cable channel ‘versus’ will be covering the event. So, set your DVR’s! starting tomorrow. Paidgeek will.

Now, it’s time for me to…

Mythbusters is a crew of special (that's different from visual people) effects people who now instead of building 7-Up machines that shoot cans, engergizer bunnies, or giant models for major motion pictures, are now paid to live a supersize version of my (and I'm really sure, their) teenage years using their mad skillz to test various myths, idioms and other fun things. For example, a few weeks ago they scientifically determined the actual required force to knock someone's socks off

Whenever you guys do Real Genius on Blu-ray (SOON RIGHT?), you MUST get them to do a commentary track on it. While busting its myths, Grant literally said that he based his entire life on that film

Start at 7min

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFHx1ZNyswc

A few weeks ago they also had a bond car buildoff, where the 2 hosts created their own devious devices and had a CHiPee high speed chase instructor go after them while they tried them out.

And my personal favorite where the FBI for some reason let them have 800lbs of Amfo to remove a cement truck with several feet of concrete permanently stuck in there from this planet

Thanks.
I like YouTube links.

If anything, they reassure me that the bucks I put out for this new computer at home were actually worth it.
