My TV supports DV and I haven't tested any HDR10+ content on my non-HDR10+ TV via the Oppo yet, but I'm fairly certain I've seen others say that it will show HDR10+ in the media information on both the Oppo and Panasonic players even if the TV isn't HDR10+ capable (and it will show "HDR" in the output section.)

Default Multi-HDR SoC with HDMI 2.1 transmitter

The Amlogic S905X3 SoC with built-in HDMI 2.1 transmitter designed for Set Top Box is compatible with all main HDR formats (i.e. HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Technicolor HDR).
https://www.cnx-software.com/2019/04...block-diagram/

"Built-in HDMI 2.1 transmitter including both controller and PHY supporting CEC, Dynamic HDR and HDCP 2.2, 4Kx2K @ 60 Hz max resolution output, ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode)"

But it can only decode HEVC Main 10 profile Level 5.1 (i.e. up to UHD 4K@60 at 17.82 Gbps).

You're right. Tested an HDR10+ disc on my Oppo hooked up to the B7.

The Samsung M9500 player, which is hooked up to my Samsung KS9800, actually shows HDR10+ in the media info (and of course, only HDR10 as the output, since the TV does not support HDR10+.)

meanwhile, although Ron Perlman (special guest for this – https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...e#post16293344) isn’t in Hellboy(2019), it may still be o.k. and it’s in DV -

Yes because HDR10+ is so sought-after as the pinnacle of picture quality, so desired by all, that such secrecy is essential otherwise it would be a catastrophe!

That actually was the case for this – https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...d#post16250338, for outside of local Oak Harbor civilian readers, the rest of the world (exception being alerted Blu-ray.com fans) was clueless to the filming until the cast had already departed Whidbey.

On film shoots, cloth tape is used for many purposes, such as taping magazines and rolls of film. Usually a certain color is assigned for the different types of film stocks that a clapper-loader will use to mark magazines.

Paper tape is mainly used to mark actors, place focus marks, make dolly marks and is also used in situations where you don’t want a surface to be ruined from the tape’s adhesive.

As Goose said in Top Gun:The list is long, but distinguished . Give me a few minutes to type up some uses to add to that seen in the Arri pic in the post above.
