I love Pitch Black. Hard to believe the film is now 20 years old

I revisited the film a few months ago and it was every bit as good - and fresh - as when I first watched it theatrically. That and Frequency were two of 2000's best films - and two of the best sci-fi films of all time IMO. If Arrow is working on a new edition, I'll be beyond thrilled.

Just wanted to mention the Arrow 2020 release has Dark Fury in 1080p (letterboxed to 1.85)

I should add that they included the old extras, which are largely in SD format on the previous BluRay, on this most are now in 720p (although a couple were at 1080p). (There are lots of new extras as well.)

Language is strictly English with subtitles on the film and Dark Fury.

One oddity is that the commentaries are on the Director's Cut version only and this may be my memory failing but I could've sworn on the previous release it was reversed (commentaries on Theatrical).

A note on Dark Fury: it may be upscaled (or it may just be a limitation of the master), it's not as sharp looking as it should be at 1080. It does look better than it has on previous releases, however.
