When I was at the grocery store an hour ago, I saw another customer show attitude to a store employee because she politely tried to remind him to adhere to the one-way markings on the store aisles.

I was tempted to punch the guy in the face so hard that it would have knocked out his mother before she even became pregnant with him.

My heart goes out to grocery store employees who have to deal with flak like this from people on a constant basis. Be kind to the grocery store workers, because they're dealing with extraordinary circumstances with the utmost grace and tolerance.

I agree with you, that guy was outta line. It's too bad that we can't come up with a vaccination for stupid.

If one thing's for certain, this country is terribly uneducated in basic public health. It's getting more common around here now to find more people not wearing a mask than wearing one. And of those who are wearing a mask, it looks like the majority are wearing them incorrectly. It's kind of triggering to see people wearing a mask in a store only for it to be all the way down their face not covering their mouth and nose as they slowly take their time moseying about. Very few seem to be covering both their mouth and their nose. I've also seen some situations where say a wife will wear a mask but the husband is not. And too many people will all of a sudden pull their mask down to talk to other customers and employees as though it's some kind of courtesy. Also, lines seem to be getting closer to pre-pandemic times where people are standing way too closely. It doesn't help that there are so many locals who still think the whole thing's a political ploy/hoax or that wearing a mask and social distancing is violating their 'rights/freedom.'

If the people next to you in the grocery store line are standing too close to you, then just pretend like you're coughing.

P.S.
Don't do that. Bad idea. It would be pretty funny, though.

The fact that every other commercial on television is now coronavirus-related was inevitable.

Target employees are now wearing Yup, I'm essential shirts.

I wish I was kidding.

The store should have exercised its private property rights to kick the guy out. His rights don't trump theirs.

If anything, this pandemic has shown that they are important. Logistics and the supply chain keep our modern civilization running.

This sounds like something that the women in the “lingerie modeling” studios here in Atlanta during the 1990s would have said to their customers.

As someone who works outside, it is brutal and we aren't even in summer yet. My manager told us that we don't have to wear them while outside, only when we come inside.

I think that here we're going for the "Texas 2 Step"

First the the restaurants and the haircutters.

Then the strip clubs and the churches.

Yeah, there’s a lot of nuts out there, especially at grocery stores. My mom told me that last week when she was at the supermarket, she was trying to get milk from the fridge and some lady shoved herself. And my mom was annoyed and told her to watch out and not shove herself like that. Well the lady got real angry and told my mom that she better watch her step or else, she will cough on her face. Seriously, what is wrong with people? I know sometimes my mom can be aggressive with people, but nobody has any right to threaten to cough on someone’s face, especially at a time like this. Saying comments like that should be illegal.

Mate ... your hair is too short to see? Use mouse, gel or clay. Have some fun.

My fringe is in my mouth. I look like my Avatar.
Well I made that comment assuming people will continue social distancing. By staying 6 feet apart, wearing a mask and only going out when necessary combined with the humidity and high UV rays, we can stop this spread once and for all when summer hits.

As for my hair, it’s a mess right now. My mom trimmed it a little a few weeks ago, but since she’s not a professional, it wasn’t a very thorough job and it’s grown back now. And I have a zoom meeting on Friday and my boss told us that we all need to look presentable. So I’m screwed!

Tell your boss before the meeting, see if they can help you get it fixed.

It's exactly the same thing in Brazil. It's not a USA thing.

The populace is dumb, generally.

I cruelly vote anyone too stupid to see a proven vaccine for CO-VID19 is necessary is refused all possible medical treatment if they become infected.
