Who would even take the time to vote on this poll without including a vote for The Karate Kid? Seriously.

Toughest poll yet.

I'd actually love to see over half of these titles. Blue Thunder, [La Femme] Nikita, and such childhood favorites as Krull, Heavy Metal and Labyrinth. Very tough to pick just three!

There are a lot of 80's catalog titles that I would want. I like the way the peaks are looking: Ghost Busters, Karate Kid, Stripes, Krull, Stand By Me, When Harry Met Sally, etc.

I hope there is a good master for Ghost Busters.

I would buy three more stand alone BD players if they release Labyrinth.
There are not enough ways to say please in the human voice range.

I am curious how were the movies selected for this and the other 90's polls? I found only few ones that would be interesting to see in high def and felt that quite a few of my favorites from those years were missing from the poll.

what about planes, trains and automobiles....my blue heaven...Short Circuit...and a few others that I can't recall...

also the witches of eastwick....it's a borderline chick flick because there are witches...but Jack Nicholson is the devil in that movie...

also I think Caddyshack is a 70's flick...but that needs to go Blu as well...and the very 1st Batman...

I could keep coming with movies...but I'll stop...

And can we finally get Peggy Sue Got Married in *widescreen* ferchrissakes? I've got it on LaserDisc in WS, but SD only has it in *stupid* Full Screen. Dumb!

Starman would be great--and also in *Widescreen*.

Must have Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, and Annie in HD.

Annie is my all-time guilty-pleasure musical Wore out the laserdisc. Wore out the DVD. Was PISSED that the DTS DVD was P/S only... got a Japanese import to fix that...
