These are people that have been here for many years & are selected by the site admin for those jobs You can contribute by posting & also adding to the database

You should be able to "contribute" soon, if not already, to the database, forums, etc., as crazyBLUE says. For the database, then try going to a Blu-ray or DVD and looking for this line:

Edit movie | Edit cast & crew | Upload covers | Add new country/edition | Add new movie

If it lets you click on those options, for example "Edit movie", and takes you to another screen, then you should be good.

I should mention that there are 2 kinds of "contributors", and should have been clearer about that in my last post. I'm sorry about that. Almost all of us, if we Edit some info, or Add a new movie, etc. then we press a submit button and then wait for someone to approve (most of the time) or deny that submission. That wait can vary from a few minutes, to a few days, and rarely even longer.

But there are a very few trusted people who have been here a long time, again as crazyBLUE said, who have the special "Contributor" label under their user names, or the special "power" that comes with it. Those people automatically have their submissions approved. So it's great for those who have it, but the rest of us are just regular "contributors" and we should still be able to do everything we need, as long as it's in the rules of course. We just have to wait a bit, but that's fair, as we might make a mistake, or not understand something, etc. There's stuff that I'm still figuring out myself and I've done a lot of contributions.

The important thing is that the site relies on lots of people making various contributions to be the best that it can be, for each person's personal collection and to help other members out too. Hopefully you can contribute now, or very soon if not.

Almost a Blu-ray Samurai, which I'm pretty psyched about! I think I'd like to top out at Blu-ray Knight eventually, can't imagine I could possibly go further than that. I wonder what "Unknown" 1 2 and 3 are, and how many posts you have to rack up to "achieve" that?

I'm guessing the next rank up would be 70,000 posts, unless someones already passed 70,000 posts?

Blu-ray Prince = 20,000-24,999
Blu-ray Arch Duke = 25,000-34,999
Blu-ray Grand Duke = 35,000-49,999
Blu-ray King = 50,000 +
Unknown 1

It seems to be going up from 5,000 - 10,000 - 15,000 - 20,000

As for the title I have no idea.

Yes, mine is 24, his is 26, he posts a lot more than I do since I work more and also work out.

I dunno, cardio is wiping me out pretty good, probably because I was a bit too sedentary before I started going to the gym 5 times a week and going for Sunday morning jogs.

I think there's at least 1 mod over 50,000 as well so that expectation has been beaten at least 3 times, if not 4.
