Official Member Rank Thread (see first post for ranks & number of posts needed)

I don't remember the last title I had before I became a mod. I know it was before the site started using duke, prince, knight, ect. Anyways, almost six years after joining, I am a bit over 100 posts away from 20,000.

I had a custom title very early on (when they were still issuing them), so I don't remember what my last "official" title was. I just hit 33,000 posts a few days ago.

I remember custom titles. I forgot how you went about getting one but they were cool. I know a few members that have been here for a long time have them.

And you guys are mods now so that is the only title you need.

I don't remember what my last one was either & it has only been gone for 2 1/2 years now

Say Groge, have the ranks or numbers changed? Has the site done away with the opening "Member" rank? I ask because a Junior Member was giving HD, a Blu-Ray Duke, a hard time. In telling him to take it easy, I checked the respective post counts (17,853 vs. 6! ). But, according to the list, a post total of six should give him a rank of "Member", not "Junior Member". Does that make some sense that I'm missing?

Hey!
A post count between 0-9 has always given the member the title of "New Member". Once they reach 10 they are a "Junior Member".
If you say that this member was a "Junior Member" with a post of '6' then perhaps they have changed the system slightly and got rid of "New Member".
I will look into it and if this is correct I will update the original post.

EDIT: After having a quick look around some new member in this newbie section of the forum I have found that "New Member" still exists and you are right in saying that Junior Member with 6+ posts exist.
I'm guessing that it has changed so that New Member will be 0-5 and Junior Member 6-19
I cannot be 100% this is the case but I will monitor post counts and change the ranking accordingly.

I wonder if the site let alone the format will still be around in 20 years.
The way the studios are trying to force digital everything I guess we'll have to wait and see.

On a side note I'm at 8500 now so I'll be a Blu-ray Champion one day.
