I've submitted three Blu-ray listings and a few covers, yet I cannot get a contributor star.

Just keep doing it. Might be a certain number of user submissions you need to get the star ~ I don't know what that would be set at though. You have 271 so I would guess that you might be close. Remember submissions can be Blu-rays, DVD's, anything in audio gear or HT

Add ~ Looks to me if you get about 320 successful submissions you will get that star

I'm a newbie here and was wondering ............ With over 24,000 posts, why isn't my ranking higher than Prince ?

By the listings on page one shouldn't I be an Arch Duke ?

That list is a couple years old Russ, Not sure how accurate it is now for I am sure the developers have changed it a time or 2 since then.

OR ~ Maybe they have you on hold

Hmm...must be higher then that. I have 828 mostly for slipcovers haha and no star.

But again it's just slips.

Not as important as as movies imo. Although all those crazy slip people think so. Oh wait...I'm a semi crazy retired slip person.

Maybe it all depends on your reliability as well. And I'm sure the admin have to approve of the star too I would guess.

I'm not that pressed about it. As long as the info gets added, that's the most important thing.
