I think that the stars come from being among the Top 100 contributors in one of many categories. To see those categories go here: https://www.blu-ray.com/community/?a...rs&categoryid= and pick the drop-down menu that says "All categories" and look at each of those that (I believe) will earn you a star. Screenshots aren't on there for whatever reason.

Looking at your achievements: https://www.blu-ray.com/community/ac...s.php?u=136802 you are #1823 on Blu-ray Movies, #1424 on DVD Movies, and #364 on reviews of Blu-ray Movies. Those are categories that are much more popular to contribute to, so you'd have to put in a great deal more work to make it into the Top 100. It can be very rewarding to put in 1,000's of hours, or even tens of thousands of hours contributing to the site in order to reach the Top 100 in some of them, but not everyone has that time.

Some of the categories that are on the list don't even have a Top 100, there are fewer then 100 people who have ever contributed, so I think that if you contribute even one point's worth of work to one of those then you'll get a star. Though there are a couple, like "Posters", that I honestly don't know how you'd earn your way onto the list as I've uploaded a ton of posters myself but my name hasn't appeared. I think that the video games might work well for an easy star though.
