Update: It looks like "a" poster debuted at D23 Spectre mentioned but based on the image it looks more like a convention exclusive, possibly a giveaway maybe. While it is Struzan art, it doesn't appear to be a final style, perhaps Struzan will use this artwork as part of the final style or he will do something completely different. http://www.polygon.com/2015/8/15/915...inn-lightsaber Last edited by Kinsella5; 08-15-2015 at 11:15 PM. |

Yeah it is nothing more than a freebie giveaway which is pretty common for conventions like that. Looks to be 13x19 in size, while it's great to see Struzan doing some new artwork, it doesn't have the same precise detail he is known for by his earlier work so I could not imagine that being a theatrical one-sheet. Hopefully he does do the art for the forthcoming final style and that its more of the cast, etc.

![]() I'm not a fan of the droids poster, so I may only frame Han/Chewie (which to me represents ANH; Vader (ESB) and Palps (ROTJ). The 4 posters for three movies messes with my internal fung shui. |

Yeah, sorry about that. Got mine in the mail the other day. I can't wait to frame it!
Also, I got Marko Manev's two matching Captain America: The First Avenger posters in the mail that Grey Matter Art is/was selling. What are people's thoughts on those? ![]() |

I'll try and keep this brief. Ordered a set of near mint/mint lobby cards from Movieposter.com. They arrived, and many had staple holes throughout, and a theater stamp on the back. I emailed them, and they sent more damaged cards to replace them. Now after their repeated incompetence, they refused a full refund. They offered me $16 of my original $24 purchase, if I send them back on my own dime. So my options are a roughly $6 refund after my shipping costs, or be stuck with a set of damaged lobby cards. I'll obviously be avoiding them in the future, and would oblige others to do the same.

I actually ordered with PayPal, and they will only intervene for orders that don't arrive, not for items that are improperly described or damaged. Luckily it wasn't a really expensive item, but it sure does bug me on principle. I'll just have to stick to emovieposter.com and the better ebay sellers. |

Finding the "better eBay sellers" as you put it is rather difficult, so much of the stuff on there is being sold by people who have no clue what they are doing or selling reprints, fakes, etc. There are good sellers on there, but unfortunately with eBay's lack of enforcement on much of the counterfeit crap on their site, the good sellers get harder and harder to find. One day my inventory will be done and I will be back into the poster scene more so than I have been. |

Hey guys!
I was wondering if someone could help me out here. I got a couple of the Jurassic Park Mondo posters a couple of months ago and I am thinking about framing them. I have no idea what to do in this situation. I took it to Hobby Lobby and the framer there mentioned something about Dry Mounting it and how the heat could damage the poster. They also suggested spacers to go between the poster and the glass, since I am using a ready-made frame. I have no idea what to do in this situation. Has anyone here ever framed a Mondo poster? Any advice is appreciated. ![]() |
