I'm inclined to agree.

Did they already post a link to buy that Incredibles print meaning has it gone on sale? If not, post up a link so others know about it if possible.

Since the prequels had two posters, I would be surprised if they release a second advance teaser, and it's too soon for the final style. I believe we will see the final style in November. I have seen and heard that at D23 there are some limited prints being offered but have yet to hear or anything with regards to the theatrical posters.

Update: It looks like "a" poster debuted at D23 Spectre mentioned but based on the image it looks more like a convention exclusive, possibly a giveaway maybe. While it is Struzan art, it doesn't appear to be a final style, perhaps Struzan will use this artwork as part of the final style or he will do something completely different.

Going by this ebay pic it looks to be a rather small item that was given away. This was not my pic just one I spotted while browsing D23 stuff on fleabay

I hope they let Struzan do the final art and not just some promotional piece.

Yeah it is nothing more than a freebie giveaway which is pretty common for conventions like that. Looks to be 13x19 in size, while it's great to see Struzan doing some new artwork, it doesn't have the same precise detail he is known for by his earlier work so I could not imagine that being a theatrical one-sheet. Hopefully he does do the art for the forthcoming final style and that its more of the cast, etc.

Update:

BOTH sets have now sold-out. They will have individual prints at this weekend's D23 convention in Anaheim or you can purchase them at 9am pacific time/12pm eastern time tomorrow (Friday) at the Bottleneck Gallery website.
I was just going to get the Darth Vader poster, but alas, it was sold out, so I had to get the whole set.

I'm not a fan of the droids poster, so I may only frame Han/Chewie (which to me represents ANH; Vader (ESB) and Palps (ROTJ). The 4 posters for three movies messes with my internal fung shui.

Yeah, sorry about that. Got mine in the mail the other day. I can't wait to frame it!

Also, I got Marko Manev's two matching Captain America: The First Avenger posters in the mail that Grey Matter Art is/was selling. What are people's thoughts on those?

Those look sick man I saw those on there the other day, just discovered Grey Matter Art and Hero Complex Gallery the other day (late to the party I know) Seriously thinking in the next day or two of picking up Manev's Rambo III print.

I'll try and keep this brief. Ordered a set of near mint/mint lobby cards from Movieposter.com. They arrived, and many had staple holes throughout, and a theater stamp on the back. I emailed them, and they sent more damaged cards to replace them. Now after their repeated incompetence, they refused a full refund. They offered me $16 of my original $24 purchase, if I send them back on my own dime. So my options are a roughly $6 refund after my shipping costs, or be stuck with a set of damaged lobby cards. I'll obviously be avoiding them in the future, and would oblige others to do the same.

That's a shame you were treated that way, MoviePoster.com for the most part has a fairly good reputation around here and elsewhere. I take issue with some of their methods but I am just one opinion. With that being said, if they were advertised as near-mint/mint condition when you purchased them, and they arrived used, you can certainly bring that up to them. Did they advertise them with staple holes throughout? If not, bring that up. Customer service is a dying thing it appears nowadays, I would never leave one of my customers high and dry as they appear to be doing to you. I say give them one more try and if you don't get anywhere, contact your credit card company you used and explain to them the situation and how you tried to get it resolved but couldn't prevail.

They did not advertise them as having staple holes. I even emailed them to confirm the condition before I ordered, since I am always wary buying these kinds of things without good pictures. I have been emailing them for a while now, and the rep finally gave me the managers email. I sent a very polite message, but it's been 6 days without a response, so I'm not expecting that to go anywhere.

I actually ordered with PayPal, and they will only intervene for orders that don't arrive, not for items that are improperly described or damaged. Luckily it wasn't a really expensive item, but it sure does bug me on principle. I'll just have to stick to emovieposter.com and the better ebay sellers.

Perhaps you should give them a call, you may get somewhere with them if you do that, and explain that you emailed them and got nowhere and then you can voice your frustration but in a professional manner and let them know that they did not advertise the item as having staple holes in them. Clearly the item sounds either used or something on consignment that they were selling. If the item is still up on the website, print it out so you can reference it. You may want to double check with Paypal, I think they can help you, give them a call if you have not, don't go so much on what their site says, you may have some luck there.

Finding the "better eBay sellers" as you put it is rather difficult, so much of the stuff on there is being sold by people who have no clue what they are doing or selling reprints, fakes, etc. There are good sellers on there, but unfortunately with eBay's lack of enforcement on much of the counterfeit crap on their site, the good sellers get harder and harder to find.

One day my inventory will be done and I will be back into the poster scene more so than I have been.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with them, I've bought from them a number of times and have always had good service. I do have the option to go into their store to see the product before I buy though and that of course always makes it easier. Hope they do something to make it right.

Hey guys!

I was wondering if someone could help me out here.
I got a couple of the Jurassic Park Mondo posters a couple of months ago and I am thinking about framing them. I have no idea what to do in this situation.

I took it to Hobby Lobby and the framer there mentioned something about Dry Mounting it and how the heat could damage the poster. They also suggested spacers to go between the poster and the glass, since I am using a ready-made frame.

I have no idea what to do in this situation. Has anyone here ever framed a Mondo poster? Any advice is appreciated.

If you ever get a chance to read through this thread, the one thing I emphasis strongly when someone is framing something is never..ever...ever never drymount something of value. Once you do that, you have altered the original condition of the item and thus it becomes worthless. Have it loose between the backing of the frame and the glass. Use acid-free backing (and acid-free matte board if you are matting it) and UV-glass or UV-flexiglass is the area gets a lot of sunlight where you plan on displaying it.
