I made combo packs out of the three I have purchased. I just put them in 2 disc cases and called it a day: A disc for the film and a disc for the extras.

I just bought the SE DVD of MiB for a quid, just for the extras (which, IIRC, includes a nifty little 'edit your own scene' feature).

Fry's online had a great deal on several titles a while back...I wish I would have ordered more. I ended up getting Moneyball from them for around $11 shipped if I recall. While not huge, it was still a noticeable improvement over the original disc and gave more of a film-like look with less ringing. Very nice transfer, overall. (Being a huge baseball fan, I love this movie.)

I wanted to get the first two Spider-Man's and men in black in 4k, but it's pretty disappointing that for whatever no special features are included.. I just bought MIB 1 on blu ray.. Hopefully in the next year the Spider-Man's will be re released in 4k with some features..

I bought both spideys and am not impressed with the results. Any improvement is very marginal.

Eh? Taxi Driver is a marginal improvement. Spider-Man is a very obvious one.

Yep, gotta agree. The difference between the Spider-man releases is huge. Again it all depends on the screen size I suppose. Viewing on a 60" screen from about 8 ft it's very obvious.

Huge as in good or bad? I really want to get the trilogy and I know the first two are in 4k, and I heard the re releases of them had much better quality than the original release. I just can't figure which to get.

If you want the best quality transfer, get the 4k releases. The Spider-Man 2 4k only features the standard cut though. If you want Spider-Man 2.1 you'll need the original release.

The original release of Spider-Man looks quite poor in comparison, compared them both in the week and was quite surprised.

What about these editions that are sort of just in the middle of the first releases and the 4k releases? I only know how to add me pic at a time but all three look just like this I've heard they all come with better PQ and all have special features

As far as I'm aware the 4k releases are the only versions that have different PQ. All the other releases are just differently packaged featuring the Same discs.

Think they might of had their audio upgraded by the transfers at the same.

If you have a HDTV around 45 in. to 60+ in. (mine is a 50 in.) then the difference on the Spider-Man 4K Blu-ray's is gigantic. The 4K transfers are significantly better and are so impressive.

I've had the Mastered in 4k Spider-Man 1 & 2 for a couple of months, I haven't watched number 2 yet, however I did watch the first film. It certainly is a big improvement over the older releases.

The older Blu-Ray release of Spider-Man isn't bad, in fact its quite solid in its own right, but it does look more filtered and slightly more noisy then the MI4K version which has a tight fine layer of grain, more detail and is the sharper more organic presentation of the film. I'm glad I bought it but I wish it had of came with extras.

I thought they did improve Spider-Man 1 from the original trilogy set with no extras to that single-disc release, but only that one.

People say that these releases are redundant, but even looking at the screen shots of something like Taxi Driver you can see a very substantial upgrade.

Taxi Driver? The difference was marginal at best. The compression was identical. The only difference was a slight boost in color saturation.

The picture looks quite similar but while the colour change is subtle, I much prefer the more realistic, less yellowish pallette.
