An early copy has leaked the deleted scenes. This leak has some images.:

The scenes seem to have finalized CGI and score which means there is still a possiblity of an extended cut. Also, this leak is of the DVD version so the Blu will most likely have more scenes than this.

It's a shame that it looks like there's no extended cut. Especially with that extended Vickers/Weyland scene, which is leagues better than the theatrical version. Oh well.

I suppose getting to see the material in this capacity is better than not at all. Can't wait to see the rest of them on the Blu-ray.

Yeah, but I'm sure all that stuff will be in the bonus features.

Maybe we'll see an extended edition with the theatrical release of Prometheus 2.

So I watched some of the deleted scenes. I can see why some were deleted but the one that absolutely should have been kept was when Millburn picks up the Alien skin. That was brilliant.

Glad to see Amazon dropped the price but I'm still holding off PO. Anything can happen, SE version for stores or be added between now and the release date. We still have a ways to go.

I loved all of those deleted scenes and would prefer them all to have been in the movie...or an extended cut.

The deleted scenes contain only production audio (a bit of ADR in the Strange Bedfellows scene), temp score, a bit of cgi and are not colour-graded. So basically they are unfinished but still pretty good none-the-less. Based on the iTunes menu pictures giving a 2hr 39min runtime, I'm pretty sure now these deleted scenes WON'T be integrated into the main cut, as they aren't full finished quality. Shame, but at least we're getting quite a bit of new material

It might drop to about $24.99 but I doubt a high profile new relese 3D combo would hit $19.99. But hey, stranger things have happened. Fingers crossed!

Going by BBY's pricing track record as of late my guess would be $24.99 to $26.99 for the 3D & $19.99 to $22.99 for 2D during release week.

Which cover art are we getting in the US? Because I think the Engineer's head cover art looks like crap. The big statue head cover art looks way better to me. Will there be a way to choose one over the other???

+1 on that. I dont like the big Engineer head cover at all. I prefer the art as used on the cinema release with the statue head in the background.
