This was one of my top two movies of the year so far!
It was personally my favorite movie of the summer. I really enjoyed it from beginning to end. Saw it in theaters twice (2D and 3D) and it was even better the second time with the 3D.

Yeah, I didn't see them say that either... although I didn't imagine them going much further than what's already planned, anyway..

i'm with you the cast was very great and i love Fassbender and Charlize Theron but i was expecting something more,i need to be more thrilled,it was boringvand The scientists don't behave like scientists, they don't talk like scientists and i hated the andriod david finally i have a MESSAGE Hey, Ridley THAT'S NOT HOW SCIENTISTS REACT TO DISCOVERING ALIENS....and i cried alot when
[Show spoiler]the alien comes out from his mother in the final scene
i'm so sad and that is my opinion and i respect everyone's opinion in loving this movie

Man so much topic on this as some is meaningless information. So my question is since people are buying from UK since some are impatient, which US Version is worth to purchase from?

Thanks

My suggestion to definitely go for 3D version as you'd get all the special features, plus cooler cover art and if you would like to get the Target one just to get the booklet, I also even definitely suggest you the get the book itself... if you're the fan of this movie, you won't be disappointed...

Are you sure you saw Prometheus? Maybe you saw Alien Resurrection and got confused.

And if you saw Prometheus and still claim poor performances, I just got one questions for you:

How dare you?!!!!

This movie lacks anything that made Alien great. There's so much more wrong — a litany of goofy things — but without characters or chemistry … who cares?

Acting from the school of Howard The Duck in almost every scene, even from those actors you would never expect it from. "Will that be all?" - "Yes... FATHER!" - Shoot me in the face, please

I admit, I'm not sure if I really want to buy this. I'm mixed. I've bought a bunch of movies lately, heck, I have three versions of Avengers (Target 3d, BB box set, standard 3d). I came away from this movie feeling like it was incomplete. It raised so many questions and was at times confusing. On the plus side, the 3d for this movie was one of the best I've seen. The depth in the landscape scenes was amazing. This is definitely a testament to how good 3d can look in a movie. But plot wise, I didn't love it. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it. If they had an extended version, I'd be all over it. This movie screams of needing an extended version. Thinking just of the version coming out soon, I'm not so sure it's worth owning. Renting yes, buying, I'm not so sure.

Id suggest you get the full edition of the book. What the target edition comes with is a very cut down version i beleive. The actual book is about 150 odd pages andpacked with phtos and info. A great book for those who want to know everything about the production.
