Hi!

I have a question and maybe it has been answered here already but I don't want to go have to read through the entire thread.

Is the 3 disc UK edition the same as the 4 disc US edition?
The German 4 disc edition comes out only in 2 months but it will also have 4 discs and not 3. Why does the UK not have a 4 disc edition?
If I buy this I want it all and not miss anything.

Can a slipcover be squeezed into the slipbox with all the other contents?

It's possible but it would be a tight fit if it did. Have not tried so wouldn't no but from the size it looks like it would. I have the target exclusives of snow white and the huntsman but all three are sealed.

I thought it was going to be a larger slipbox to hold both.

Thanks to those that responded quickly.

Totally disagree. I'm glad they went in a new direction and tried something new, even if it wasn't completely successful.

There's too many prequel/sequel/reboot/remakes floating around Hollywood these days (the vast majority of them being garbage). It's nice to see something new for a change.

Anyone watching Family Guy on Adult Swim? They just showed a new Prometheus commercial.

It has Jonesy from Alien wearing a Weyland Corp collar in front of a big Weyland Corp logo and sitting in a cushy chair.
And then he starts talking to the camera with subtitles that's intercut with scenes from the movie.

"You humans have many questions."

"I was there."

"I know everything."

"I've seen it all."

"I have the answers."

"Because my brain is superior to yours and..."

Then a hand pops in from off screen and dangles a piece of string at him.

"OOH! STRING!"

Best Commercial Ever!

I would have rather just had RS make a stright up prequal with a mutch stronger horror vib (which i think is my biggest beef with this) it also felt like it was all over the place. Once again i know its NOT a prequal to alien but with so much of alien in it's roots its damm near impossable to not compare the two.

For me, the least interesting parts of the story were actually the overt connections to the Alien franchise. I love the new direction they went in with this film, and I hope they let go of the remaining strands for the sequel.

Ok, I'm a bit confused...

I'm trying to decide which 3D version to purchase, but can't seem to find pictures of the different covers that are being released.

Between Amazon, BestBuy & Target, each one looks different.
I'm only interested in U.S. releases.

Can someone post the actual cover images and indicate which is which?

Thanks!

All the covers have the same art work as the target exclusive. The standard 3D release in the USA has a slipcover and the target exclusive has a slipbox with art book. Post #2289. https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...98116&page=115

Man... I just saw a commercial on TV for Prometheus. It totally spoils certain aspects of the film. Most notably
[Show spoiler]the Xenomorph that bursts out of the Engineers stomach.

It was a very quick shot of the
[Show spoiler]Xenomorph
but it was still incredibly baffling why it was shown in the first place. Kind of a potential spoiler, no?

Thanks Sons Of Sparda!

The only question is if the Target's slip cover is foil like Best Buy's slipcase?
The pictures of it looks flat to me.

It looks to be a holofoil slipcover. Most likely with no embossing. Post #1885. https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...199251&page=95
