I think the Slipbox from Target will look best next to the Alien Anthology Box Set!!!

I guess I asked the question incorrectly.

I was wondering if Target's slipbox is holofoil...just like BestBuy's slipcover?

I would say from the pictures they all appear to be holofoil.

Is the book from Target worth the difference? With the upgrade and save promotion at BB, the standard version is $5 off. So in essence, getting the Target exclusive at Target would be $5 more. Is it worth the $5 or is it better to just save some money at BB?

Target exclusive is $27.99. Best buy is $24.99. If you have already seen the film and liked it than yeah the target exclusive is worth it. If it is a blind buy than I would say go with the cheaper option of best buy.

Seen the movie. Loved the special effects and thought the 3d worked well. Thought the story itself was only so so. So I guess Target would actually be more than $5 more if I take into account the BB discount. Tough choice. Is the book available separately?

I believe the art book is a sampler of the real art book. The art book can be bought separately. It would be $8.00 more at target. http://www.amazon.com/Prometheus-The...theus+art+book

I haven't sen it yet but wanted to in the worst way this summer. But too many things got in the way. I'm going for the Target 3D version and can't wait to watch it on my 65" panny plasma in its 3D glory. I look at it this way, I didn't go to the theater to see it. I didn't spend $16 just on tickets and then another $25-30 on popcorn and snacks for me and the wife. Crap is so over priced. Friggen $8.50 for popcorn, wtf. So in the long run, I'm saving money and rather buy the version I really want and not feel bad. I seriously can't wait and have tried to avoid all the spoilers as much as possible.

United Kingdom Steeltin 3D arrived today!

Unexpectedly my prometheus 3D playdotcom exclusive arrived today! Earlier than the uk release date!
I was concerned about the actual contents compared to the 3D boxed version.
I can confirm that the steeltin case is stunning and contains the following-

3 bluray discs.

Disc 1 - 3D
disc 2 - 2D
Disc 3 - additional extra features.

Also, the inside of the tin shows the star map as a background behind the discs (similar promotional star map screenshot)

Would you care to explain that statement? Assuming of course everyone understands that I'm not talking about anything illegal.

My Panny 65" ST 50 is ready to go for this 2D only, but it will still be gorgeous.

2D is always better. I can't sit there for almost 2 hours with glasses on my eyes.

My copy has shipped but won't be here until Tuesday thanks to Thanksgiving Monday. That's okay since I have the Universal Monsters to check out until then.
