My LG has some burn in on it after less than a year. My panasonic has zero burn in after 2 years.

Oh I'm sure it will be coming soon. At least by Monday, I surmise.

It seems like a lot of Fox Blu-ray reviews on this site don't pop up until the release date. Too bad. I need something to get me through the next 3 days.

Bluray.com will probably have theirs up relatively soon. For some reason, they always seem to have their reviews up before everyone else, which means they either write most of their review and only fill in the video/audio/extras stuff when they get their disc, or they're acquiring them by means other than most other review sites do.

In general though, FOX is stingy with their review copies... as in, they don't tend to send stuff out until it's just about time for release. With DVD's, they send them out a little sooner but their DVD screeners are actually inferior encodes and not representative of the final product (pixelated mess, 'meh' sounding audio, etc). Blu-ray screeners ARE representative of the final product, but they wait until the last minute for piracy reasons.

I wouldn't sacrifise quality for size... I'd rather have 60in of 1080p than 140in of 720p

I preordered both the 3D Prometheus package and 3D Avatar using a gift certificate. Due to a decline in the price for both during the preorder period, I currently have a certificate credit balance of $8.06 for the Prometheus purchase and I owe $6.94 for Avatar.

I thought that, once Prometheus ships, the credit balance would revert to the gift certificate balance and automatically be applied to the remaining balance on the Avatar preorder. That is not the case. It is a simple process to apply the remaining gift cetificate balance to the Avatar purchase, but it must be done manually. Customer service will do it for you, but you do have to ask.

Don't know if anyone has a similar situation or even has an interest in this, but I thought I would share.

Me too! If we didn't live so far apart we could hook up and go to Target together. Afterwards we could go to Starbucks for coffee and muffs.

Oh Fox, you smart yet diabolically evil people, you have swayed me to your more expensive 3D version with its silly Blu-ray 3D disc because I must see the epic Furious Gods: The Making of Prometheus documentary.

So $24.99 for two great BDs and two bonus decorative coasters...though watching the 3D film in 2D could be fun if it's 1.78:1!

does anyone here have the link to the 15 min ( something like that ) deleted scene video. It was on here a few weeks ago, I can't find it tho

there a a few dead links before the working one was posted. Also there was talk about how fox takes these down quickly. Hope this helps someone to help me find it. I have seen it already-need to show a "know it all" 18 year old cousin. Thanks in advance for who can help

once you put up a 120"-140" you will never watch your favorite movie on a puny 60".(except maybe daylight)
