I have checked the website and they say there are no updates for it, I also checked in Device Manager and it could not find any updates either. What the hell is going on ?

So $24.99 for two great BDs and two bonus decorative coasters...though watching the 3D film in 2D could be fun if it's 1.78:1!
Don't feel bad - I've done the same thing as you Love the movie and enjoyed the documentaries on the Alien Anthology set.. Also - the Apocalypse Now CE is one of my faves and I hope this one will be up there

I think the tension between
[Show spoiler]Shaw and David will create some interesting scenes in the next film. It was because of David that Shaw's partner/lover Holloway dies, which also leads to Shaw having the creature inside her (my favorite scene). David is a back-stabber, and easily the most dangerous character in the film: He can't be infected with the black goo. He even survives the attack from the Engineer! And the interesting thing is that everyone seems to trust him, except for Vickers of course.

Will Shaw be the one to kill David? Isn't that exactly what the Engineers did? They created us, then tried to kill us.

I can't wait to get this on blu-ray.

And I can't wait for the next film.

Did anyone watch the fan edit Prometheus: Weyland Investors cut?

The streaming just ended.. The trailer for the cut looked awesome and from what the fan editor said, I think it might turn out to be better than the actual edit.

Ridley Scott is the one you need to convince, not Fox.

In Denmark the BD was released october 2nd. and I got to check the 3D tonight along with the documentary.

Let me first say, that I saw the movie three times in a row this summer, because I was reviewing the movie in the various 3D formats. That was quite a shocker, quality wise.

Real D was really a let down. Light was sucked out of the movie and no scenes shined in 3D. A colleague of mine reported the same for MasterImage. XPand was good. Light was still compromised, but there were great use of 3D and detail and sharpness. Dolby 3D was excellent. Without a doubt the best 3D use, I've ever come across and the first time, I've never felt any need for more light. Almost all the movie was great in 3D, with lots of depth, clarity, detail and light. 6/6

Then I checked the movie out tonight in a TOTALLY light controlled room, with black walls, black carpet, black ceiling and a JVC X9 (RS60) projector, 104" screen, 1.4 gain. The 3D was good, but it never came close to the Dolby 3D performance I witnessed this summer.

I really hoped, more people could see for themselves, the potential in 3D, Prometheus possess, because it is truly stunning and remarkable. But my equipment is not up to the task of reproducing this. The material is dark and the projector can't overcome the loss of light, that the XPand glasses sadly sucks up. I will enjoy the movie instead in 2D, but reluctantly, since this is surely one to watch in 3D. You will need a lightcanon, to get this to really shine.

BD 3D: 4/6

Thanks for the input, I watched it once in very dim 3D theater, regardless, this didn't stop me from absolutely LOVE the movie. I'm not a big fan of 3D, but I'm excited to watch this particular movie again in 3D in my projector (RS40 with JVC glasses), believe me it couldn't be worse than my local theater . how is the ghosting? heavy, light or flawless

Did they really push the parallax like in Titanic,Avatar and Avengers? Or is it subtle 3D like Tin Tin?

Ok awesome. I'm just making sure 100%. All I really wanted was the deleted scenes anyway.
