Yeah its definitely getting annoying with the different versions of movies. I hate it when Target has their own exclusive, BB has their own, its out of control with some of these movies now.

It's not the retailer per se, it's their employees. Some of them are new hires, and they haven't been well inform to all the new rules and regulations of the store policies. If any problems or discrepancies about a transaction, just request to speak to the store manager, who will mediate and amicably resolve customer's complaints.

The 3D version comes with a 2D disc. I seriously don't get what the huge problem is.

Yes I hate it at times too. Went to three targets and no 3D exclusives at all.

Never had this before so maybe someone with some insight can let me know, but definitely anyone else out there with the same thing. Reply and say so, thanks :-)
Same issue here. I redeemed the UltraViolet copy without any issue, but I get the same message when trying to redeem through iTunes.

I'm shocked to see how many people are having issues with Best Buy regarding sales and/or pricing. But I am trying to clarify, those of you who have run into issues regarding this $5.00 promo did you all bring in a DVD at time of your purchase? Because that is the only way you'd get the upgrade and save voucher deducted from your total. And if you ALL did in fact have a DVD in hand to do the upgrade and save at time of purchase then the employees at your store should have had no issue at all considering it is listed in the circular and such.

But anyway just trying to clarify seeing as I had absolutely no problem whatsoever. It seems possibly and sadly that your locations employees may in fact be out of the loop regarding their current sales and promos. But again some may not have realized they needed to bring a DVD with them to get the voucher lol. I have seen it happen.

Anyway so where do all of you fall on the spectrum with this.

Yeah I went to three targets and finally found one 3d exclusive at the 3rd. Unfortunately they used some of those spider security tags. They weren't too dinged up though.

Yeah I got the iTunes to work and posted the following about 5 minutes ago, but here it is again for you!!! :-)

Okay here's the deal for anyone who posted to my initial inquiry regarding the digital copy not redeeming on iTunes. I called up FOX Digital and got the 411. Pretty simple fix even though it is a ridiculous extra step lol.

First of all what you have to do is run the disc when it pops up you click open to view files. Then click the DVDROM folder...from there you then click Media Manager....and in that folder the very last item at the bottom is the Media Manager II application. Launch that and let it load and from there it will prompt you to type in the digital code on the slip you got in the case and once you choose either iTunes or Ultraviolet it will then generate a new code for you lol.

Again like I said and easy fix but odd that you have to use one code just to get another lol ;-P

Guys, I've found this image from Twitter. Its about the mysterious Black-Goo and it seems that Weyland Industries have tested it and prepped for biological weapons on few planets. Crazy shit.

Well, with Target, we may all be freaking out for nothing and patience will win out. The one I am going to also still had a few exclusive Hunger Games sitting around when I was there last weekend.

One scene i wish they didnt cut out was David telling her they were from "paradise"...really helped tie things up a bit for me, made a ton of sense why she would be obscessed with going there. When David is watching her dream her father clearly tells her its "paradise"...

My targets have no copies. One target got in a bunch of the 3D regular release. The other target had none of the 3D at all. Mine still has the hunger games exclusive too but all are spider wrapped.

Nah, it's the retailer. I've talked with their managers before. They're all just as ignorant of their policies regarding coupons.

Ah ok, I dont need that stuff. I really wanted that behind the scenes though so I switched my BB in store pick up to that. I originally thought that the 3D version didnt come with the 2D version since of course on the BB site the image for that isnt working, so I couldnt see that it also includes the regular 2D version.

And of course on their site theres no mention of the behind the scenes at all. So basically for the average consumer who isnt hanging out on message boards, they would never know and get screwed out of something they dont even know exists. See what I mean about this being too complicated now? Most people arent on bluray.com and know about all this stuff, so they go in and buy the $20 version, not knowing the $24 version has a huge behind the scenes feature. Not cool.

The sticker on mine came off with a little effort using my fingernail- no residue left. Just need to work it slowly (that's what she said).

[Show spoiler]

Now it makes sense why the scientists like Milburn and Fifield acted confused and demented by getting lost and playing games with an alien snake....they were obviously in the caves long enough to inhale the goo.

Their managers have supervisors too! If the managers have't been informed by their superiors, then how are they suppose to know? It appears the managers, and the employees have a severe lack of communication between both parties. That's the importance of having company meetings periodically. It varies significantly on the location as well, and all Best Buy stores doesn't operate the same, as they should.
