Maybe he has, what about the the 4 space jockeys standing in the entry way to the sleep chamber? Why are they there? How long? The same 2000 years? Noone has answered about those space jockeys either.
Are they empty suites? I must know!
Thats true and it did seem funny to me at first but David does mention that theyre technology is far more advanced than ours. Also, the engineer had ALOT of tubes or cables going into him...perhaps these are for sustaining them in the event of a unusually long hypersleep. Whether or not you want to consider Aliens canon or not...wasn't Ripley in hypersleep for 57 years? She seemed to bounce back quickly considering

Thank god that didn't happen. Killing Ripley would have robbed us of one of the greatest sci-fi heroes of all time.

Yea Ripley is cool
But when she dies they just clone her (alien 4)

The cool thing about that though is not her death, but that it would have made the sequel Xenos more intelligent than bugs
not dissing them, but it would have been cool. I think of Aliens like an awesome Starship Troopers, but it could have gone a different route

I don't know if this has already been mentioned but the 2d version's digital copy is SD only while the 3D version's digital copy is HD and SD. Please pm me if you have no use for your HD digital copy code.

Lol. It doesn't help that the movie gets aired on one network or another seemingly hundreds of times a year. "Oh look Titanic is on TV...also, water is wet"

I like Titanic enough, but Avatar is about as entertaining as watching paint dry.

And I agree with you, Obi. I think it's hilarious the naysayers can't stop talking about this film. When I don't like something, I don't participate in it (like not being a part of any discussions on Avatar). lol

I was wondering what the
[Show spoiler]engineers were running for or from when David triggered that hologram.

I don't think that was explained unless I missed it.

Pretty sure the Engineers were running from the Internet backlash.

Terminator. Terminator 2. Aliens. True Lies. Titanic. Just to name a few.

Avatar is Cameron's worse film by miles.

I don't think Avatar's that bad
I recall the SAME people loving it, then suddenly it became "uncool" after the Pocahontas meme
It's not like any of those other stories were completely original either

Avatar - colonial.native girl theme
Titanic - true story
Aliens - escape.bughunt
Terminator - escape

You could do that for any film, simplifying it
I'm not a GIGANTIC avatar fan, but we have people calling it the worst scifi of all time and just ridiculous things
have you watched the sci-fi channel?
have you seen a Transformers film?

The internet: Where movie magic goes to die ... due to witty reviews
where you could make the same about Real Life
who the heck has a life without inconsistencies and plot holes?

[Show spoiler]They were going to earth. I want to say I remember David holding an orb with the characteristics of earth.

The way this discussion is going, you'd think Prometheus was a better movie than Avatar.

But its not...in any shape, way or form.

I enjoyed Prometheus 10x more than Avatar. But of course that's just my opinion. I have no want to ever go back and watch Avatar again but I do with Prometheus.
