I know! I paid $25 @ Amazon preorder! I need to learn to wait, between this and Titanic I could have saved $25

Wait, Amazon actually dropped the price to 19.99 on release day. Didn't you receive a refund?

If not, time to call Amazon CR......:-)

There is no evidence that indicates the other script was better than the rewrite.

Yes there is the original script out there And it's really clear that the final shooting script hurts the film, it should have done double minimum what it did worldwide in box office receipts. All those absurd points everyone noticed really appeared in the film when Lindeloff came on board.

I saw this, double-checked to see if it was region-free, and SNAP bought is immediately for shipping to the UK were the 3D edition is the best part of $26! Also bought my favourite comedy of all time, Blazing Saddles for $4, can't be bad to that. It's going to take about a month to get here, but i'm happy to wait. This country can be such a rip-off you know...

Glad to hear you were able to score on this deal. Sorry about the wait though.

Any word on FOX correcting the pixelation issue on the 2D disk? I should not have to go in and delete my BD Data just to be able to watch the movie. My dad borrowed the movie and had the same issue.

What about the lack of interesting characters? Was that a non issue in the original script? In sure the original script has problems of its own and not of lindelof's doing. I know there are people with bias against the man because they didnt like the lost finale, and now they will be quick to attack anything he does from now on. I looked up the original script and while I haven't read it yet, I read about a scene where the alien bursts out of holloway a chest while he's having sex, which sounds awful and not in a good way.

All of the main characters were very interesting, so not sure what you're talking about. (with the exception of Vickers imo)
Maybe you're talking about the other Alien films, all with unmemorable characters.

You seem to be bringing up things from Spaits script.
Lindelof's script was AMAZING
it's a shame they took out so many parts of it.

Have a read, it is brilliant:

Nope.
He fully explains each scene, where Ridley cut certain explanations for time, thinking his audience would be smart enough to figure those simple things out.
_

also Elizabeth Shaw/Noomi in a music video

I don't have to say anything to refute you as my avatar just did it for me. David was one of the most interesting characters of modern sci-fi.

It's Blu-ray-sized. There is no DVD-sized packaging for Prometheus(In the US anyway).

Whether to get the $10 version or $14 version right now?

I was not a big fan of "Prometheus" at all, but I would love to see it again and give it a second shot.

Does one of these versions help in changing my mind? Be it mostly through special features or extended versions - I've tried reading up about both, but I'm lost as to what's really on what disc and if the more expensive version is even worth it to a person who thought it was just ok.

Thanks and happy holidays!

The bonus features are worth $14 by themselves. You get a film you don't like for free (and in 3D as well)!
