Yeah...this is one of the very few 3D titles I own, despite not being 3D-capable (or caring to be). Solely for the extras. Just like I had to buy the 3D release of The Wolverine, because the regular BD release didn't have the Extended Cut.

There is no "has to." It's a movie...not a prison term. I saw Prometheus theatrically in both 3D and 2D. The 3D added absolutely nothing to the experience for me, even on the big screen. Hence, I have no real desire to bother watching it in 3D on a much smaller screen.

Yeah, 2D is good enough. There are only a few sequences that truly benefit from 3D.

The 3D blu is the only way to go for this release. ..because of the extras. I love the Furious Gods doc.

Yeah, as others have said, not into 3D, but you gotta get the 3D version of this one if only for the huge batch of extras.
