no problem. i like the face cover but the new one looks good too. ill be getting which ever one has the extras. most of the time i dont care about the extras but i loved prometheus and need to see those deleted scenes!

I'm going to either buy from Amazon or Vudu and I noticed Vudu has an "HDX" version of the film, which is supposedly 1080p. Is its quality really that good or am I gonna be getting something roughly on par with Amazon's 720p streaming.

VUDU HDX is 1080p video, but sometimes the audio is compressed. I would buy the digital copy on VUDU HDX since it's only $15, and it comes with the extras

sorry i was in a rush and trying to find a gift for my wife at the same time. if no one gets a pic of this by next tuesday ill take one when i pick up avengers. the display was one of those cardboard jobs and it had pics of the two differant versions as seen on this site when you type prometheus in the search bar. it said get them october 11th!

Np, I'm just glad that that means the 3D cover is official. Hope you chose wisely for the gift

BTW, how do people find out what the official cover would be, because two days ago forum poster said the new cover is confirmed.
Who actually confirmed it? Did Fox send those covers to retailers?

Did anyone else download the early release from itunes? There seems to be an issue with missing captions, or they show up in spanish instead of english.

From the itunes reviews it seem to happen in parts of the movie where there was text information on the screen (ex. Prometheus introduction). I didn't see it in the theater, so I can't confirm what should or should not be there. I did notice there were random spanish title cards that appeared on-screen, and it was distracting.

Should have just waited the extra 3 weeks.

I got the UK steely on PO but LOVE the US artwork for the 3D edition.

if i click on the prometheus 3d version directly it says image coming soon,
but if i just search for prometheus the artwork can be seen in the list!
its the head artwork with the new 3d logo that was used for the abraham lincoln vampire hunter 3d as well, so that cover seems legit!
