Amazon might have lower prices but you either need to pay for faster shipping and the import fee or risk customs.
Hasnt been my experience but good for you. As i said id prefer to shop from amazon as i know if my package gets lost i can get it worked out(resent or refunded). I dont think Bluraysforeveryone would do that. ANyway thats my two cents.

Hastings now has the 3D set at 24.99 pre-order price. I already reported it to Amazon to get them to lower their price too. Feel free to pitch in and influence them with me!

I did and was amazed how good the movie was. Now I am just waiting on my copy to come in the mail.

I think we have to accept that Fox will be releasing this without a proper press release.

We may have to wait for people to get early copies before we can have conformation of anything.

Kinda wierd for what woudl still be a fairly major release. Anyway only 2 weeks now so shouldnt be long before review/early ship orders start appearing.

The 2d edition is also $21.99 @ GoHastings. Report this one to Amazon as well too (not all of us need/want 3D).

1) will the 2D version come with the extended cut of the film or is that reserved for the 3D version?

2) will the extended cut be incorporated into the movie or only as a bonus deleted scenes feature?

Seems like your #2 is the case, and that the deleted scenes will be on both editions.

If Fox does that but we end up getting a taller ratio for 3D and 7.1 DTS-HD MA, I would be more than happy. What would be really upsetting is them giving us a 5.1 track (like how they downgraded Narnia:Voyage of the Dawn Treader and Red Tails) and 2.39:1 for 3D.

I really hope bb doesn't try to pull this 29.99 crap for the 3d like they are with avengers.

Also wondering, without giving it away, how many of you caught the easter egg at the end of the credits?

Even though at best buy 14.99 is the pre-order down payment at Walmart that's the full price for the blu-ray and they sent you the movie on release date in the mail after you put the code in you got from the case online it's almost like a gift card type thing but the 25.00 from the pre-order goes straight to the blu-ray once you put in the code that's in the case. So I paid 16.20 not bad for a new release that isn't even out yet. I was going to hold out on getting it but for that price ill bite.
That is what I did, and what a great deal too!
Price matched at Walmart to get it for $16.20 with tax.
Also Vudu has great pic/sound quality with HDX.
