I just bought the 3D version from GoHastings.com for $24.99. Shipping was $.96, so total after tax was $28 and change. It will ship on the 8th via USPS first class mail.

Amazon refused to price match, so screw them...

Of the two to be released, I definitely like the 3D version much better, but I actually liked the idea of this one...

I'm disappointed, but I can't say that I'm "pissed off."
The film looked great in IMAX, but the shots were composed for 2.39 so it's not like we're losing anything important.
I'd have hoped that Fox would do what they did with Avatar and Narnia, and Paramount with Titanic, and release the 3D open-matte.

But it's really not that big of a deal to me at least.

I don't know if it was mentioned but Walmart has the same thing as Best Buy, where you pre-purchase the Digital File via Vudu and they send you either the 3D Combo or the 2D.

2D Pre-Oder was $19.99
3D was $24.99
