Perhaps, but not in a disingenuous fashion as Movielabs also co-authored this input document (U0044) - http://isovideo.com/jct-vc-denoise_2015.php

is 7 channel surround sound really required for a movie about strippers?

the better question is, why isn't Magic Mike XXL in 3D? seems like a missed opportunity to me.

on that note. I have now learned the Soderbergh shot and edited MMXXL. How very interesting indeed.

If they've already rescanned all of the Bond movies in 4K, how long until they release a new Bond box set in UltraHD blu ray?

I have the DVD set, but I never got the blu-ray set. Maybe I should just skip it and wait for the UltraHD set.

The catalogue Bond titles didn't actually sell all that well on Blu-ray which is why the release of the remaining titles were put on hold until the Bond 50 celebration, so it'll be interesting to see what MGM does with Mr Bond on UHD BD.

Its best to pick up the bond 50 box set in HD becouse you will be in a long wait for a 4k bond set. The good news is that more bond movies are remastered in 4K !

I could see an UltraHD BD set come out around the time Spectre is released on disk.
