No, I’m tight with my money…..

unlike some of you guys who seem to buy Blu-ray players and TVs as often as I get a haircut.
Hey, as you’re a movie freak, tell me which movie that frame grab is from and that will impress.

Best for HDR since 2010 - YouTube

often seen in Dolby demos or by bloggers using the frame grab. Googling will be of doubtful help.

Just watched this on my ks9800 via the youtube app. Spectacular in HDR. So lifelike. Do you own an hdr tv yet?

I'm watching a big conference with Arri from last week. The speaker says that Arri is no longer creating film cameras or parts, they are 100% moving to digital and he said to expect this to be common.

So? Film cameras are still around and are not going anywhere. (Arri has been out of the game for a while now anyway)

Hint: Just last month the cinematographer in question was in China.

Well, it's obviously Scrooge but I thought you were asking as to what specific movie version that was from and I've never seen that gentleman before. I don't recall which Scrooge had a pile of Benjamins in front of him, for that matter...

Default The 3 X-Men films getting a second release in 2017?

I see on FoxConnect that the 3 X-Men films are listed with both the old release from early 2016 and a new release on January 10 2017. Does anyone know what this is about? As an example check the X-Men: Apocalypse links below.

X-Men: Apocalypse
Old : https://www.foxconnect.com/x-men-apo...-ultra-hd.html
New : https://www.foxconnect.com/x-men-apo...ltra-hd-1.html

Fox rerelease all the time with movie cash or slipcovers

Check to see what other titles are being released on that date and see if it might be one of those

Yep, a simple re-release with Logan movie cash and/or more unified cover designs would be my bet.
