Just look back within the last few posts/pages of the thread and you'll see some people using and recommending them

I use the Movie-style fr "G2" size sleeves for my UK slipcovers and they are a great fit. For steelbooks and US slipcovers I use the German Steel-shells.

Default Steel Shells

I thought that I would give everyone some feedback about MY experience with blu-steels.

I ordered a 65 pack which is on sale ATM. I read some of the negative messages from other forum members after I placed my order, and I was quite alarmed to say the least, but didn't need to worry.

After placing my order on the blu-steels website, I received excellent communication (4 e-mails) the last one confirming that my order had shipped, and also gave me a tracking #. 10 days later I received my Shells, well packaged in a cardboard box with all 65 Shells present and correct. This was my first order from the website, and probably wont be my last.

The Steel Shells are just what I needed to protect my collection, and the SteelBooks also look great inside them.

So, it seems that this guy is trying to improve his tainted image. Let's hope that his service continues to satisfy his customers.

I don't think you will have a problem with small orders, it's the big ones you have to worry about.....

Does anyone know if comic book bags are the same or useable size? You get to buy them instantly and no shipping fees involved : )

There are two grades of comic book bags, one with, one without the cardboard backer insert.

The blu-steel shells are awesome; however, my unsealed Zavvi steelbooks with j cards are a tight fit.

United Kingdom SC6 Jumbo Protective Case from Steelbook Central

The kind folks at Steelbook Central have recently sent me a sample of their new SC6 Jumbo Steelbook Protective Case. Here are my thoughts on it (and a few pictures too).

Firstly it's a 3/4 enclosed, side loading case, similar to their SC2 & SC3 cases for standard size steelbooks. The quality of the SC6 case is very good and will definitely protect your jumbo steelbooks from scratches and shelf wear. I think that it should fit most jumbo steelbooks, with or without j-cards.

My only negative point is that when I tried this on a sealed copy of The Hobbit, it was a very tight fit and getting it back out was not very easy at all. Also it didn't seem to cover all of the steelbook (right to the very edge - see pics below), but this could be due to the extra thickness of the seal on the steelbook.

Personally, I prefer their SCF1 style cases (which I now have all my regular steelbooks in and absolutely love!) and would rather have a fully enclosed case for my jumbo steelbooks (hopefully this may come in the future!).

Hope this post is of some use to people.

Here are some photos from various angles:

Hi guys, just wanted to post about Steelbookcentral.com great service!

I ordered two types of slipcovers from them, the ones that are open on the spine side and the jumbo ones. However they sent me fully closed ones instead of the jumbos.

When I contacted them, they said to keep the ones I ordered and that they would ship the jumbo ones free of charge!

I'm also wondering this. I've currently got 2 sealed Kimchi lentis on the way and a BF Pacific Rim, so I'd like to know what the best option is for protecting these. Still haven't decided if I'll open them or keep them sealed, so I'm looking for options if they're out there.

Movie Style France has 2 sizes to choose from. One is for opened steelbooks and the other is for sealed with J card etc. I personally prefer these over others due to how they fit together. Heres there web page. Hope this is what you are looking for!
