You can get ones that are just as good from eBay that are 20 for $21.50 shipped. These are the ones I use.

I would definitely remove the film. It shouldn't take you long. I'm surprised it didn't ripple or peel while you were constructing the shells.

It really isn't an "issue". The wrinkles are there to make it easier to peel the thin plastic film off.

You could also try VideoGameBoxProtectors.

http://www.videogameboxprotectors.com/store/4569532134

Couldn't link directly, so it's under Movies -> Blu-ray -> Blu-ray G2 Steelbooks.

I've been using them for all my standard G2 steelbooks, if you want to keep the jcard just fold it up & put it inside the steelbook.

I use those, they're very nice. They'll fit with a J-card just fine, as long as it's unsealed. I've never tried a sealed steelbook, it would probably be too tight...

Does anyone know of the Standard G2 Steelbook size from RetroProtection will fit the Best Buy Disney Exclusives sealed w/ Jcard?

I had made a large purchase from Steelbook Central of SC3s and it turns out some are too thick to fit them and am now looking for another solution.

I saw a user a while back got some there and he showed Logan in there, but my main issue seems to be with Disney/Marvel ones.
I see RetroProtection also has larger sizes for Lentis and Fullslips but I worry those may be too large. Thanks!

Anyone know if SCF3 will fit The Pianist KimchiDVD exclusive unsealed? Is steelbook central the only one that offers this size?

The Full slip is taller and thicker than the lenti. It fits perfectly in an SCF2.

im kinda confused with the size of the Hobbit 3D extended eidtion https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-H...lu-ray/123354/
The size are 140 (w) x 19 (d) x 178 (h) or 5.5" x 3/4 x 7" and none of these size are a perfect match; not tall enough, too small, or too much depth.

SCF1 Slipcover Dimensions 138 (w) x 17 (d) x 173 (h) mm
SCF2 Slipcover Dimensions: 140.5 (w) x 23(d) x 175 (h) mm
SCF3 Slipcover Dimensions: 140.5 (w) x 18.5 (d) x 176 (h) mm
SCF4 Slipcover Dimensions: 140.5 (w) x 26 (d) x 177 (h) mm
SCF5 Slipcover Dimensions: 138 (w) x 17 (d) x 191.5 (h) mm
SC6 Slipcover Dimensions: 136 (w) x 30.5 (d) x173 (h) mm

is there any other size i'm not aware of ?

Assuming that the US Hobbit 3D EE is the same size as the UK one, then it's your average garden variety jumbo steelbook. SC6 will be fine (that's what I've got mine in).

ok. could you measure it ? otherwise i'll go with SCF4 since SC6 is not high enough.
