Info sheets and cards will fit but can be a bit of a squeeze. I kept mine on initially. Then I took them off - the steels look much better in the cases without the j-cards etc.

EDIT - dont worry about scratches, you wont get them as a result of these cases. You might if you dont use them though!

Look MUCH better than those crappy plastic bags lol.

Don't know why all the other pics are so large?
+1 on that. The bags look crap indeed! I used the ones I bought (to test) just to wrap things I send to people or to wrap j-cards etc - all they are good for in my opinion! They look horrible, make your steels look awful (if you can even see the spines properly!).

Plastic cases are way better and the only option for me.

Didnt think we could post ebay links here? Anyway, they are easy to find on ebay uk site. I think there are a few people selling them now. You can also get ones which are sealed on three sides (just the right side open) but I dont feel the need for that. When you have them lined up with spines showing you cannot even see the cases as seen in the pictures above - which also show just how crap those bags are! (I use mine for sealing stuff up in - I wouldnt have them anywhere near display because they look terrible!)

The nice thing about these ones is they seem to have a clear, glossy finish which seems to enhance the finish of the steelbook. Some of the other ones I looked at were too thick and dulled the artwork...anyway, hope to have them early next week. Watch this space!

While those steelshell cases are nice, they are also a little pricier. If anyone needs some really good bags that are still pretty cheap...try these bags I ordered from Meritline. They have the resealable strip on the flap itself, not the body. They are a bit roomier than the Amazon bags so a steelbook slides in and out really easy.

They can be found here:

....We all know about plastic baggies and they are a great, and inexpensive option. I use them on all my bluray slipcovers but for my steelbooks I wanted something better.- something to show off the beauty of the steelbooks.
Steelbooks are a premium product so I wanted something special to display them in. A cheap plastic bag wasn't working for me hence my search.
Personally I don't mind paying an extra buck or whatever on top of the price of the steelbook for something like a steelshell.
If someday I decide to store all my steelbooks hidden away in a box somewhere I'll use cheap and cheerful bags. In the meantime, the steelsheels are the only way to go.

You will find cheaper protective slipcovers of high quality here
...what I meant was these type of hard plastic 'steel shells' in general, are a better option (in my opinion) than the cheap plastic 'bags' that you can get for $6 for 100 or whatever.
As far as the 'steel shell' type design, yes there are lots of different styles, different prices etc etc ...I was just highlighting one style I found I was excited about.
I still think they are the best because of the 'glossy' type plastic used which enhance the steelbook finish. As I mentioned earlier, there are other similar types too which use duller, thicker plastic so the steelbook does not look as good.
