I’m waiting (impatiently, lol) for some company to drop by for Maple Leafs/Oilers. Then MMA.
I’m psyched for both!

To think my Girl wants to get cable once we get settled. I cut the cord two years ago and haven't missed it.
Have you and her considered Sling TV? I'm a fan. The price went up to $35 monthly for new subscribers (I'm grandfathered in at $30 until August).

It's really not bad compared to the average $217 monthly for cable these days.

The problem I find is finding affordable, reliable internet for streaming. We cut the cord here in NY and our cable/internet bundle went from $130/mo to $90/mo just for the internet. If I could find cheap internet, we'd be satisfied with OTA TV and just Netflix. I prefer my physical media anyway.

OT: Drinking coffee and watching some Saved by the Bell reruns and thinking about taking a little trip up to the Adirondacks to see my daughter and her mom one last time before I move away. It's about 4hrs away and rain is in the forecast, so I'm not sure if I'm going to or not.

Coffee and surfin' around.
I wish I could've slept in a bit later than 5:07, dammit!

Yesterday I spent a couple of hours tweaking my bicycle and am hoping I can ride it today.

Just had a second Sunday run this month ruined by a severe desire to relieve myself. At least it didn't happen during my virtual marathon on the 21st. Definitely need to start taking a mask on every run from now on until masks are no longer required to enter businesses so I can use the restroom. Watching the season premiere of My Hero Academia, still not quite used to watching anime in Japanese regularly.

I’ll look when I get back home and let you know.
They’re from IKEA but aren’t “Billy”. I had those before and they’re too deep. These are much better.

OT,
I am waiting to get into the clinic for The Shot.

Getting ready to go up to the mountains to see how the kiddo and her mom are dealing with the rain while camping and swing by Lowe's for a couple more moving boxes, I thought i was all set on boxes but I still have my kitchen to box up.

Ah ok...yeah deep is definitely not something I want either. Appreciate you looking into it for me when you get a chance.

45 Blu-rays X 6 shelves, so 270 or so.
I'm pretty sure they're FINNBY.
They're perfect for movie collections and I totally recommend them.

Cable company: stream all you want, we'll just charge you more for the internet and it will increase every year unless you're on a promotional rate

consumer: there really is no alternative is there? guess I'll go back to dial-up...

Just finished breakfast, once again one of my new hearing aids didn't charge overnight so I'm charging them some more before work. Something to bring up at my hearing aid appointment next Friday.

Watching some Big Bang Theory, need to go over the assignments for this week for my Child Abuse classes. Hoping to get some more info for Wednesday's exam for Child Abuse 2.

this is the last week of mandatory OT for work.....i put 6 hours in yesterday and this morning i'm getting my last 4 hours in for the week.

i finished my regular job duties (auditing completed cases) last week so the rest of the month i have to help complete cases to try and lower our inventory.

since it's not my regular job, i don't get audited on the work i complete so i always have a movie or tv show on....currently on season 6 of The Office.

My red hearing aid charge light just went completely solid, right before I leave for work. That's some small relief, although I'm pretty sure a 50%+ charge level would be enough for a 8.5 hour shift with no issues.

and surfin' around.

Yesterday my Lil Sis invited me out for a drink and the Mojitos were too good. Afterwards we went to the liquor and grocery stores to get the fixings to make them at my place.
We had some good laughs and discussion!

Writing a check for voluntary child support for the next few months. I wish my daughter was moving down to Kentucky with me, but she'd rather stay up here to be with her friends and her mom was cool with it so I wasn't going to force her to move.

My brother's coming down to hang out today, so it'll be nice to have the 3 of them here for one last time.
