The label occasionally offers a free signed copy of one of their titles with the purchase of $100 in TT movies. Only 100 signed copies are available and they do go very fast. The promotion is usually done when the new monthly pre-orders go on sale @ SAE .

Interesting info from their FB, posted ~30 mins ago in response to a customer who missed out on the signed promo today.

...very sorry you missed out. I think the answer is we will no longer offer the signed copies on pre-order days, but on "off days" throughout the month. Last week we experimented with the signed Lalo Schifrin copies, and they took a full 24 hours to go. That's what we'll do in future.

Anyone else order The Fortune? I am really looking forward to this BLU. I love movies from this period being released. in fact I never heard of it until recently. if only TT could release Seems Like Old Times great Columbia comedy also. Murder By Death with the poster art for the cover would be awesome. :-)

I plan on getting The Fortune. It has been a while since I have seen it. I saw it originally in a movie theater when I was 12. The film has a very dry wit and many may not enjoy the subtle humor as much as I do.

Here's an interesting (to me, at least ) observation.

I'm in Canada and I have a package with a Twilight Time BD coming from SAE. I click on the tracking number in the shipping email which takes me to the Asendia site. The package left the U.S. on the 17th at which time "Electronic Tracking Ended".

The neat part...I'm currently tracking another package within Canada (a couple of harmonicas) and I had the Canada Post site open in another window. Just for the heck of it, I put the tracking number from SAE into Canada Post tracking...assuming the number would not function.

I was pleasantly surprised to see this:

Turns out the SAE tracking number works at our post office.
