Just placed my order for USED CARS. As soon as they make U-TURN available for pre-order, I'll be ordering my copy...definitely!

And regarding Zardoz pre-order date:

Sometime in Feb. Fox is still working on the brand new transfer.

None of those have been mentioned in any low stock alerts.

NM, I've never bothered to sort by price before. Seems like a random selection to be that price when most aren't.
They aren't a random selection. They are all (or mostly) films licensed from Channel Four Films in the UK. I'm guessing the license fee C4 was asking was lower than what Fox, Sony, and MGM were asking.

I too am looking forward to ZARDOZ. I hope FOX was able to find the original 4-track mix. It was a problem all those years back for both the Beta/VHS, Laser and previous DVD release.
I remember talking with John Boorman and he was never happy with the results.
FOX has become so cheap with their catalog release - it would have been nice to send a crew out to Ireland and shoot Boorman (at his home) and show the locations today where the film was shot.
FOX has really missed the boat on keeping up with their titles and the those behind the scenes - by the time they finally moved on the APES film so many had passed on.
Through the years those working and making the decisions thought little of the long standing position of the company with little respect to the library and documenting its investments.

Zardoz is a surefire choice for me out of the February lineup. I've never seen the film before, but have always been intrigued.

I'm on the fence about ordering Lenny. I've seen it before, and it's an undeniably great flick, but it's such a...it's such a downer.

I have to buy Lenny, I think I own more Dustin Hoffman films on BLU then any other actor. I swear if you are a Hoffman fan you have a ton of his films out there on BLU.

Bit extreme don't you think? It's not really his fault Fox are being so cheap.

Glad I picked it up when it was down to less then 1000. I just love how cheesy this movie is and how much effort Coburn uses to make Flint serious, (other then the dance scene on the island ).

Zardoz is pure awesomeness...not sure what Connery was trying to accomplish with that role though .

ZARDOZ will more likely join the March releases as Fox is still finishing up the brand new restoration.

that is awesome I would rather have it part of a full months announcements. Also can you verify what form of audio FOX will be using will we get the 4 track edition in 5.1 or 4.0 or some variation?

Wow, that's fantastic that Fox is doing that. I'm glad to see this film is enjoying a bit of a rediscovery as it has often just been dismissed as as that film where Sean Connery wears a "diaper" and it didn't help that it got [unjustly] included in the 50 Worst Films Of All Time book by the Medved Brothers (alongside Bring Me The Head Of Alfredo Garcia). Zardoz is a great little early 70s sci-fi gem by a very talented director. It's very thought provoking and intriguing.

That book is a joke...sadly not in a funny way.

I am a fan of Zardoz, and even though it is flawed, at least it tried to be something different and original....can't say that about too many films lately.

I had an earlier (later?) edition of that book which didn't include Zardoz, but it did have Bring me the Head of Alfredo Garcia! It was kind of a funny book and did have a bunch of rightfully included movies, many of which I'm only familiar with from the book, but yeah. The authors definitely included several movies simply for having liberal politics, haha.

But, hey, it does mention the lost film Him (1974)!
