here is a link for SAE sorted for TT, and lowest to highest, the lowest are all the sales items.

I found the list on FB , just seems odd that the one and only site where you can buy the titles at this price does not include the list.
All the titles that are part of this sale will say 4th Birthday Promotion Price next to each title on the SAE website.

Do you have any cause to think it'll sell out? I mean, considering all of the other Twilight Time titles that haven't sold out after two or even three years.

I wonder how a certain individual is working his way around this..."3,000 is the magazine rate...blah, blah they dont have to pay royalties...blah, blah". My love for this label went up 1000% the second that guy stopped posting here .

I'm guessing it will not sell out in a year's time but as I'm a newbie when it comes to TT titles, and knowing that in a few instances, titles have sold out quickly - I was hoping some others might have better guesses than me.

Oh, snap. I recall hearing about EXPERIMENT IN TERROR, but didn't realize until looking it up on IMDB that one of the filming locations was my high school in San Francisco. Tempted to buy it JUST to see that.
Experiment in Terror is a great film with a great transfer. You won't be disappointed.

I snagged Richard III, Equus, and The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie.

Honestly no one knows for sure, your best bet is to keep an eye out for the low quantity alerts, but I don't see this as a quick seller, it doesn't fall in the horror, sci/fi or fantasy genre.

I think so!
Especially with the cheaper European editions in the game too.
Noone is interested in restrained period dramas..

Of course, it's my most wanted title from this month's pre-orders.
But I'd like to see first some reviews before I buy it and compare with their European counterparts.

I used the no interest payment option. Actually, PayPal Credit automatically gives it to you whenever you spend over $99.00. It's very helpful when I want to make a big purchase and am having a tightly budgeted month. And knock on wood ... so far I haven't paid interest on anything except my house and my car since 1993.

Audrey Rose always had some scenes with lots of noise. I remember seeing it in the theatre and thought that doesn't look right. I chalked it up to Robert Wise selecting better takes but with lesser quality lighting and camera setting. It's always looked like the Blu ray master does.

Picked up...on sale.....

OK. I should say that people in general seem to have an inflated idea of how many and how quickly Twilight Time releases go OOP. And I'm sure that TT thrives on this belief.

The fact is that (including the six releases that went up for pre-order today), there are 140 TT releases on Blu-ray, and of those 140, only 23 are OOP (with maybe another half-dozen on the endangered list). And most of those took a good while to go OOP.

In my sig is a link to a previous post of mine in this thread that lists all of the OOP TT titles, with the dates they were available for pre-order and the dates they went OOP. That way, you can get an idea of what kinds of titles are more likely to sell out, and about how long they last. In the latter case, it's well to keep in mind that as TT becomes more well-known and attracts a larger customer base, the more quickly titles are likely to sell out. Still, unless it's a popular horror title, it'll generally take some time.

Every now and then, TT will issue "low-quantity alerts" listing titles that are down to about 500 or fewer available copies. These lists appear on their Facebook page, and tend to be transcribed here. That's the best way to keep on top of what might be in danger of selling out.

Thanks...Paypal gave me the wrong info and told me it had to be on a single item over $100, not a single order.

I just ordered...

Zardoz
Flaming Star
The Story of Adele H.
Love is a Many-Splendored Thing

I've been holding on to my butt for a long time now with regard to Love is a Many-Splendored Thing, but the birthday price discount pushed me over the edge and compelled me to purchase it at long last.

I just recently realized that Flaming Star is a Don Siegel movie, so that kicked it up to high priority.

Thanks for the replies guys.
I'm going to wait until a later time on possibly ordering The Remains Of The Day.

On my first ever TT order, I decided to go with a few safe bets:

Sleepless in Seattle
Bell, Book and Candle (limited quantity)
The Way We Were

No, in fact, I often will make several small Buy It Now purchases from different sellers at eBay, and then pay for them as a single transaction, to make the $100 minimum and get the free financing. I've been doing it for years and never had a single problem.

I'm glad to have been able to help you!

You memory is not good enough and there has never been "lots of noise" in the theater. And the film absolutely does not look like the Blu-ray master does.

There are some very, very basic limitations on display there that have absolutely nothing to do with the way the film was shot. There should be plenty of grain, instead the entire transfer is overwhelmed by noise.

I just put in the AUDREY ROSE Blu last night and skimmed through it and it looked fine, but it all kind of skewed toward yellow or a bit bright. I then pulled out my old DVD to see if there was anything on it that I needed to hold onto it for, and when skimming through the film, the colors in the film are all much more natural on the DVD: brighter blues, reds, greens - whereas on the Blu, colors just seemed to be on the yellow side. I don't want to start a whole "which one is correct" debate or if the DVD was color boosted, but the more vibrant variations in colors on the DVD are way more preferable to my eyes than the overall yellow-hue of the Blu. But I most likely would never have even noticed if I hadn't done a side-by-side.

Of course, the DVD was non-anamorphic so my choice of viewing the film would still be the TT Blu version, so the Blu wins regardless. Also, the trailer on TT's disc is the full final trailer for the film, whereas the one on the old MGM DVD appears to be an earlier brief teaser trailer showing the book cover instead with a narrator and no scenes from the film. As a trailer collector, I guess just that will make me hold onto the DVD as well now.
