The Man from Hong Kong, IMO is a must-have. If I didn't already grab the Umbrella release a few months ago I would've grabbed the upcoming TT version. Why I wish Umbrella wouldn't have tried to stuff so many extras on one disc and that affected the encoding, but I'm too cash strapped to double dip to get a second copy of this film when there are so many preorders I have and so many other films I don't own.

Just a lurker, but I have to chime in and say that I'm saddened to see the lack of enthusiasm for "Venom". Not a perfect film by far, but I like it, and have only seen it through my old, rare swedish ex-rental vhs. That one features a bleached out, full screen version, so I'm pretty sure it will grow on me even more with proper colours and OAR. And seriously? A rare horror flick with a synopsis like that and no-one seems even remotely curious? And a cover like that? Jeez. Probably would have been better off getting released by a label that specializes in this kinda stuff, but at least I don't have to stress out getting my hands on a copy now I guess...

I totally agree with everything you said my friend, and I am really looking forward to this one on Blu-ray! I hope TT has more gems like this in store.

Not sure if they have started shipping out. I asked them on Facebook the other day if they were on track for the Jan 18th release date and they did say yes though. I am trying to figure out how many people preordered compared to how many are waiting to see how they look before placing the order. I also wonder if they will be limited to 3000 going forward?

Anyone who happens to look on eBay for Twilight Time titles, DO NOT buy from fivestardvds. Just found out from another member that he who shall not be named is selling TT titles with the discs replaced with random DVDs

That is interesting. I wonder if the 2 new titles that are on preorder will drop down to that price at some point as well? Or maybe they are just priced cheaper because they are older titles and not part of the new acquisitions?

That’s a pretty moronic thing to do considering the buyer protection policies in place on eBay.

Has anyone noticed any residue on the back of your twilight disc from the clear blu-ray cases? i got two used twilight titles in the mail from two different sellers, The discs look scratch free but there is some type of residue on the back of both disc. I tried to wipe it off and it just smears. Any advice on how to get it off without damaging the disc?

I've noticed that too. I use a microfiber cloth and it wipes right off, but you also have to clean the case or it smears up again.
