Journey has 355 copies in-stock, and Island 291 (one has been sold since I made my earlier post), so the numbers are correct.

It was in the 700s on the 12th when Nick Redman made his unofficial announcement though. I clearly remember checking this when he said the announcement was going to be made.

And mysterious island was in the mid 500s as well.

That's what I was going by because that's when they picked up in sales again. But yes, within your 21 day time frame you are correct.

wow are you serious.
that really surprises me in some ways, but not in others, as RAH can be pretty discerning when it comes to PQ.
personally I though it looked pretty good, and I could never understand giving it as low as a 2. that just seems absurdly low.
I guess I'll go read his thoughts to see what his main beef is
(guess the bloom is off the Sony transfer rose)

well, like I said, he's quite discerning and can recognize things that 99% of all viewers would probably never see.
sounds like more of an issue due to efforts from long ago instead of anything recent.
I certainly wish it looked more like it did in the theater originally, but I would still give the bd at least a 3 for pq.
imo most people who spring for the TT bd will be satisfied enough with the overall quality, but who knows.

If true some of the recent titles are selling pretty well, e.g. The Big heat, and some older titles are selling ok but are still in stock, e. g. The Egyption.

And it shows that few people now about TT and SAE.

It's more about the titles that they're selling.

Very disappointing indeed as I have COVER GIRL coming in the mail right now. And I'm a HUGE Rita Hayworth fan.

But I appreciate that Robert Harris will at least dare to express an opinion. He has enough standing that he can do that. Anybody else suggesting that a Twilight Time release has any flaws is generally shouted down by the TT trumpet section.

I don't have any previous DVD of COVER GIRL so, hopefully, I'll at least be satisfied to have it in some form...even if it falls short of what I was hoping for.

A user named "filmgene" who joined the site three days ago gave it a five star picture rating. It's the only thing he's posted. Hmm...

We always include subtitle information right on the review page, Rafael. If you go to those listings, you'll see Mysterious Island has English SDH subs but Journey has no subs. All reviews always have complete specs posted right next to the cover image.

Hi Guys, just wondering if anyone has a magnet for Mysterious Island that they would be willing to part with?
I have an extra The Egyptian magnet which I could possibly trade if someone was interested?

As much as I like Journey to the Center of the Earth and Mysterious Island I find it a travesty that The Big Heat and Rapture aren't closer to being sold out. Two of their best titles IMO.

Well, if 'gaming the cart' is to be believed Banned User, then The Big Heat is on the verge of triggering a 500 remaining announcement soon too.

My biggest disappointment is that more folks haven't nabbed Swamp Water. I mean, we're talking Renoir here...outstanding film and disc.

I doubt it, as they would have made the announcement already - both Island and Journey were given the '500 left' announcement well before they reached those totals, and Big Heat has 491 in stock. There should be one more shipment of 1000 left, meaning that Heat has sold 1509 copies.

I agree with those who can't believe they haven't sold out of Swamp Water and Rapture and the Big Heat. I admit I still need to grab Swamp Water, but I am juggling all the releases esp film score releases also. Always trying to keep up with stock QTYs also. But I plan on owning all the TT BLU releases.

I have no idea if this means anything, but searching for "Journey to the Center of the Earth" directly from Screen Archives' website doesn't bring up the Blu-Ray. Is it finally sold out... ? (Thank God I bought one already.)
