Interesting that all three of these come with a relatively robust selection of extras.

If anything, that's probably why this film went to Twilight Time, because I was certain that Fox would release this themselves at some point. The trend I've observed over the past few years is that Fox seems to be handing off titles with element issues to Twilight Time (Demetrius and the Gladiators, Journey to the Center of the Earth, The Song of Bernadette, Leave Her to Heaven, Drums Along the Mohawk).
Here's what they've said to this question on their FB page:
"Just as a heads-up, some folk have asked about the disclaimer we have placed on this title: "PLEASE NOTE: WE HAVE BROUGHT THIS FILM TO BLU-RAY USING THE BEST SOURCE MATERIAL AVAILABLE." It is nothing too serious, it is the same disclaimer that Fox put on their own release of the film on DVD, and in good faith we are adding it to the pre-order information. Those familiar with the DVD will know that JANE EYRE is one of the titles for which the original elements no longer exist, and that surviving prints are all that is left to work from...this blu-ray is derived from the same master as the DVD but of course is going to be in 1080p and those who love the film won't be too disappointed."

I'm liking the extras on these titles, esp. the commentaries by Julie Kirgo and Redman. Some good titles here and coming up!

I believe all of those extras are ported from the DVDs.

TT's releases that I am unfamiliar with won't sell out before I've had a chance to watch the movie and determine if I want to buy the release.
I totally agree. Why would anyone blind buy at those prices? I suppose if money is no object. I'm not having a go at TT, I have two of their titles that I'm very happy with, even though they cost an arm & a leg, The Egyptian & Mysterious Island. A TT Blu costs $40 to the UK, & I have to REALLY love that movie to pay that.

I'm a Harryhausen fan, but I think I may pass on the two Sinbad blus coming soon. Just getting tired of all the hassle involved in amassing home-viewable media. And the cost doesn't help, even though I have all the green in need, easily. I just can't justify the costs.

I think most of them are--but it seems that until recently, TT releases typically didn't port forward most of the special features that earlier DVD editions had offered.

Usually if a title had extras previously on a studio released disc, TT will carry them over. Not always, but most of the time.

As far as new extras as of know only in rare instances (Drums Along the Mohawk with the John Ford Documentary) has a TT title had them, save for their usual practice of offering isolated score tracks.

I have TT's Picnic and can highly recommend it.

Captures more of the frame then the DVD and vastly improved picture quality.

I wrote my thoughts on it here a year or so ago. I have since posted it under the blu-ray.com listing, so feel free to read it there. The story has some darker themes than are initially visible on the surface, and it has some iconoclastic elements similar to Bigger Than Life. It is a gorgeous looking blu-ray,

Yes.

And looked at in a certain way, one of the characters might almost be a prequel to Vertigo.

Thank you. I think I'll order it in the not-so-distant future.

Given that they've recorded a new commentary for Zulu, I guess this means they aren't restricted to old extras for MGM titles, and can infact make/add new ones? Should be interesting.
