Is there a master SAE thread? I hate to post in wrong sections, but I'm angered right now.

Feb 1, 2014 I placed an order for cds at SAE as of today at 435pm they had not shipped. 18 days later. I've been patient, but now they will be too late to give as a gift on time. I sent an email requesting cancellation, and no less than 10 minutes later, I get an F'ing email saying they are shipped. The problem comes in that it usually takes every bit of 7 days + weekend to get them.

Sorry for venting, but now I'm out 60$. It just seems spiteful, because last time I had a long pending then emailed them, a tracking number appeared, but it took 4 days later to even get to 1st location in Linden, VA.

Who would add films to the Blu ray.com webpage? This is part of Twilight Times March slate and it does to appear to be listed.

As TT's overall catalog gets deeper, it's interesting seeing the wide range of titles people select in order to get the freebie.

I guess I did dig a little deeper than I otherwise would have, and it didn't help that I just ordered 5 movies from them last week. I didn't know about the freebie until a couple of days ago. And of course with the freebie it comes out to only $25 a movie instead of $30 and I can certainly live with that.

Do they do this every month?

It does seem like it's becoming a regular event lately. And I'm sure it helps move a lot of units out the door every time, considering how many of us will pick a title or two or three that we probably wouldn't have bought otherwise. If they have 140 signed ones, that's pretty much a guaranteed 140 customers spending app. $120 each - thus $16,800.00 minimum of sales just for the promotion. Not chump change!

I'm all for the signed editions, but as they do it so regularly now, it can be a bit difficult to come up with 4 titles to buy each time.

That's partly how I look at it too.

I'm not sure if the freebie is something you can count on every month, but it seems to be getting that way. (EDIT: ... as iamnoone pointed out just before me. heh)

Yeah, no way I can do it every month. But maybe every two months or so.

How much do you have to spend to get free shipping? I want Crimes and Misdemeanors and Alfredo Garcia but still didn't get free shipping. May just wait and add Wild at Heart.

Yes! I really wanted Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia and would have bought All the King's Men too, but at this point I don't really have two other titles left to buy that I'd like, so I'm going to wait for next month when I can combine with other new titles I want. It also makes it a little easier that I already have The Driver.

+1 here. I've vented before about Sony dumping titles onto TT, especially Best Picture winners; but as I said even then that's Sony's fault, not TT's. I initially avoided Oliver!, but got it after I learned more details about TT's business model: It's Sony that's missing out on the potential for a wider release by taking TT's up-front, guaranteed royalty check for 3,000 copies; boycotting TT only hurts them, not Sony.

Yep, they started almost two weeks ago now, but things have been extremely slow (apparently bad weather is at least partially to blame). My order (which I put in last month on the day pre-orders went up) was shipped two day priority this past Tuesday, and probably won't get to me until either tomorrow or Saturday, even though I live just a few states over from where SAE ships from.
