For the pre-order, it's simply because I have an OCD driven need to order it NOW! Though, for the title I ordered, there's a slim chance its cult appeal might lead to a sell-out.

The sale for the other titles is on for a few days, but there's a strong possiblity that some of THOSE might sell out because of the sale.

I started to buy Swamp Water by itself, since that's the sale movie that I'm most excited about by far, but I changed my mind at the last minute and decided to go with the Flint movies as well. I'm such a big James Bond fan that these movies should be all in good fun in my collection.

Sorry if this has been already discussed, but anyone notice "Rita, Sue and Bob Too" is only $24.95? Why this movie $5 less and none of the other new releases for pre-order, what's the thinking here?

EDIT - I love how Roger Ebert, Janet Maslin, and Vincent Canby are the go-to people to get quotes to put on the pages for the film's they're selling. I guess when they can't find good quotes from them they use Variety (in general, no specific writer there) or Peter Travers. I've seen them use Pauline Kael a couple times, but very rare.

Yep, it's been discussed - the UK licenced films are slightly cheaper (see Fever Pitch).
